Such a lovely nail bar, staff are kind and welcoming. Always leave with a great set of nails. Wouldn’t go anywhere else! Personally this has been the best nail bar I’ve been to since living in Cardiff.
I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon due to a major communication problem. The manicurist who was supposed to do my nails did not speak to me, either due to a language barrier or simply because she did not want to communicate, which made it impossible to explain what I needed. I had to communicate through her colleagues, who did not take the time to properly advise me or ensure the work was done correctly. Specifically, I asked for a strengthening treatment for my long natural nails, but they interpreted it as a regular manicure. I do not understand why, if they have experience with long natural nails, they did not double-check with me to make sure they were doing the correct procedure. Additionally, the manicurist handled my hands roughly and uncomfortably. The final result was terrible. My nails were not strengthened and did not look good either. When I asked them to fix it, they wanted to charge me the full price again, 45 pounds, even though I had already paid 30 pounds. When I requested a reasonable discount for the misunderstanding, they only offered 5 pounds and said I would have to wait several hours or until the next day or Saturday. I explained that my nails were about to break and that I needed to use my hands, but there was no solution. Ultimately, I decided to go to another salon because if they had already done the job poorly and were not willing to fix it for a reasonable price, which I understand was partly both of our responsibility and I was not refusing to pay, I preferred to give the chance to someone else to do the job from scratch and do it properly. For anyone reading this, I have traveled all around the world to many places, and nowhere have I ever been treated this poorly. For those who care about their nails and know how important it is to have them looking good, you will understand this feeling of disappointment, frustration, and the fear that your nails might break. It is terrible. I normally never write this kind of review, but this situation warranted it. P.S. The nail polish color was nice

Emily & team are very friendly & welcoming. I was recommended to visit the salon about 6 months ago, and have been coming back ever since! The service is always professional, the salon is clean & comfortable, and I love my nails every time! They’re always helpful and willing to help me decide on my nail design, its very reasonably priced & have loads of options to choose from!
Had a lovely experience today at my first ever appointment at Gelous and so pleased with my nails! I’m very particular about my nails and like them to look quite natural so finding a good salon that listens and delivers my desired look is very important. Pleased that the nail profile looks natural and not too thick or heavy which I’ve observed can happen with nail technicians who maybe aren’t as skilled but as you can see from my photos that Gelous did a fab job! They are okay unfortunately each time I go the nails end up wonky I did want them to remove them as they seem to be hurting me now and growing out. I'll have to take them off at home and find another place. The moat recent visit I've ended up with coffin and squre but only requested coffin shape. The price list is incorrect and when I tried to set up details do a transfer the app wouldn't allow me. Feel like they need a real price list and advertise transfer not cash only. Just comes across as dodgy.

A big fan of Gelous nails - had three sets of gels and they never fail to deliver. The service is professional, fast and they always listen to what you are after. The owners are very kind. I love coming here to get my nails done and always happy to recommend to friends and family.
Best gel nails I have ever had. Emma is efficient, professional and friendly. Marvellous value for money and clients can obtain a discount via a card which is stamped after each visit. I was impressed with the fast service I received. In and out in 30 minutes! Highly recommended.

The owner is so kind and the prices are affordable especially for the quality of the service and the outcome. Every time I get my nails done here, I always get compliments about them!
