   Excellent service from John Hodge Solicitors when reviewing & re-writing our Wills. This was from the initial on-line enquiry I made, to the initial face-to-face appointment with Emma, one of the Partners Solicitors. Our meeting was summarised with one of the best ever set of meeting notes I’ve ever read. As a result our Wills were drafted accurately & excellent advice & guidance was given by Emma. The follow-up appointment was made to sign our Wills & copies were efficiently sent to our home address following the signing meeting. A very efficient service was provided & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Emma. We were incredibly impressed from start to finish.

   I have recently used John Hodge Solicitors & the service was excellent. Magda Neale was outstanding and she provided a 1st rate service from start to finish. She was extremely professional, kept me updated on all aspects of the sale, quickly resolved any issues and I couldn't have asked for anything more. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them & I'm going to be instructing Magda again in the next week or so to act as my solicitor for another house sale.

   Although very friendly it’s just hard work got to keep chasing them all the time !! very slow if at all responding to emails and phone calls. Mistakes had to be pointed out to them for them to rectify over 2 months later and I’ve still got no copy of my lease which I asked them to draw up.

   Would not recommend, they don’t even bother to call you back. Called on Friday 6th, explained the situation they said someone would call me back that day, no one did, I called back on Monday and asked when I was going to get a call back, as I needed advice urgently, and I am still awaiting a call back. Really poor service!

   Absolutely disgusting solicitors would definitely not recommend, I was treated absolutely disgustingly from both reception staff and solicitors from day one. My solicitors never did any fighting for my case and the whole case was completely and utterly one sided when in fact the blame and cause was completely on the oppositions side however my solicitors never did any fighting for me side and basically just walked all over me, all they cared about was charging me excessive amounts of money every two months for no work or progress being made. Every time I went in to complain about the high bills and complete lack of service and advice they would charge me for walking in the front door and complaining about the problem, and they would use black mail on their invoices by saying if you don’t pay by the 14 days of the letter then they would add interest of 2% every month. I complained about lack of advice, progress and service at every stage however I felt completely black mailed by their bills and none of the staff or solicitors ever listen to the clients. They do not care what your saying and the complete attitude towards you both receptionists and solicitors is incredibly rude and disgusting. I was never offered any kind of compensation for lack of advice, service or them overcharging me for no work being undertaken. This solicitors firm is truly diabolical and disgusting and should really be investigated and shut down because I have never been so black mailed and bullied and treated so disgustingly in my entire life it’s appalling. My solicitors actually adviced me at the start to not bother fighting and give up and throw everything away as he was basically on the opposite side, I couldn’t believe what I was hearing as it was so disgraceful, I was basically paying for nothing at all. Do not use these solicitors as anything is better than being treated the way they treat people. 0/10
