   I went into this shop a few days ago. I wanted a particular tool but I didn’t get very far. Why? Because I was greeted by a man who had his beard in a sort of ponytail! I had such a job not to burst out laughing, but managed to control myself. However, there was no way I could have completed my purchase with such a ridiculous sight in front of me, so I left. What is the owner thinking? Has he looked in the mirror and seen how ridiculous that beard looks? Words fail me!

   The epitome of "Aladdin's Cave." They have almost everything available in regards to homeware and DIY. This local business holds up on their own against the likes of Wilkos and Wickes, and the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The space might seem cramped, but I believe it adds to the charm and character of the store

   I have frequently come to the tool box and always found the staff pleasant, informative and helpful. But had to add a review as we passed by recently and asked for some advice about a missing nut from my little boy's scooter. The staff member who served us couldn't do enough to find the right type of fitting, then proceeded to find a spanner to fit it up for my son, which was a fiddly and time consuming task! At the end of it all, didn't take any money from me and all he would accept was thanks for the time and effort he spent. It's because of staff like this I will come back again and again and have for years. They care and go the extra mile. Thank you for fixing my lad's scooter and for making our day.

   Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. They always go out their way to help you with whatever you need. Got me out of a lot of sticky situations over the years when working on vehicles. Prices are far better than high street DIY shops.

   I purchassed a stop tap from them and asked when I got it if I could return ot if it was not the correct size to swap with my old one. When I got it home it was too short to fit as a direct replacement. I returned it with the receipt and was told that it must be in the original plastic bag. It did not have a bag and obviously no one mentioned packaging because it did not have any. Not good service will never consider using them again.
