All Indian veggies are mostly dry and wrinkled. Rarely fresh. All other spices and grocery like dal, flour and Pooja items are hyper priced. Owner speaks rude. Not considerate to even offer help to carry to the car when goods are more and raining heavily. Once billing is done, it is done. it is like careless.
Would not use this shop again as i was spoken to in a very rude manner. I do not understand why businesses think they can treat customers in this way for no reason. In response to.the owners reply, this review relates to the only Budgens shop on Daventry Road.
Very good shop. Plenty of products available
Evri website says I can drop packages off til 9pm everyday. These guys seem to turn it off after 5pm. Please update the time on the evri site to save wasted trips to your shop :(
Thank goodness for the Post Office which has replaced a nearby one which shut down. Not a usual user of the shop but had to return a parcel so had a good mooch around and ended up spending quite a bit of money lol which shows they have some good and different products. Will certainly be paying them a visit again? (parcel or no parcel)

Staff so friendly and polite
Not a very good place to shop for Indian groceries. Very limited variety and expensive. The price for many items are not properly displayed. Also they don't provide the bill unless we ask for it. When I visited the shop last time, the guys at the cash counter told me that their card payment machine doesn't work. They asked me to withdraw money from the ATM in the store and pay by cash. When I told that I hadn't brought my card as I was planning to pay contactless with my phone, they acted like fixing the machine and let me pay with my phone. Most probably they wanted cash payment so that they can save some income tax. However that trick didn't work for them.
Huge Indian store. You will get all Indian spices and stuff along with English foods. You can buy fresh vegetables and frozen foods too. Go and buy Indian foods.
