   *CLOSED* As of the 8th February 2023, the store is now permanently closed and moved to ‘West Ordchards’ which is now opened on the site, as the previous ’Debenhams’ store. Hopefully the queuing will be a lot less than on old store - quite friendly staff.

   I went into the Coventry city centre store and picked up a pack of the pork and stuffing roll ,so I could have a quick sandwich for my lunch. Whilst eating my sandwich, something didn’t taste right, so I went and got the packaging out of the bin to see what the date was on the packaging. The item was dated 07 August and with today being the 13 August, being nearly a week out of date!!!! I called the store to address this issue and after explaining the issue, all I got was”oh, was it, we’ll bring it back and I’ll refund it”. Not even a sorry!!! Having worked in a large food retail store for 10 years before, I know all about stock rotation and date checks for OOC products and the process that must be done every single day, so I am very disappointed that Iceland are obviously not following these processes and procedures, especially showing that this item has been on sale for nearly a week ( 6 days), out of date !!!!

   Lately the place is not so compact, so you can shop with ease. And if you spend over £25 they deliver to your house for free but you have to have a club card for that to happen or if not you can just hope in a taxi. They are parked just outside the store. Not to mention reasonable prices, for good quality too. Over all, I was happy with my shopping today because I did it with ease and didn't spend much. I think morning hours are better to go there.

   As always staff are polite and helpful. Was in a different store from where I usually go, but obviously friendly is keyword in their training. Got everything I needed. Good dates and very fresh. Store is clean and very conveniently placed so its easy to get to. Not full of shelf stackers and always enough tills open.

   Great products, mostly branded ones but some Iceland own brand which are equally delicious and reasonably priced! I shop here quite often as I've got 4 children and it's value for money. Staff usually helpful and you can get free delivery over a certain price. Delivery has always been great and no problems concerning items missing etc and the drivers always friendly and helpful bringing the bags inside for me most times. Overall a great shopping experience
