Great shop in the neighbourhood, has a variety of products from A to Z, including lots of local farmers’ products as well as fresh bread and cakes. Shoutout to the shopkeeper Sri, always listening to customer feedback.

As corner shops go, this one deserves 5 stars. So well looked after, plus extra services for parcels AND some really good food including Samosas and freshly made sandwich rolls. Staff are very well presented, professional and friendly.

The shop front looks so uninviting with no windows and a dirty look about the place! If anyone has watched American films and seen the local store in a bad part of town... You get the idea! The store inside isn't much better at the back there is a dirty looking area/floor that sells bread mixed with random freezers that are packed tightly together! I was waiting to see the rats! Unfriendly staff member at the till, walked out and went to the local Co-op instead!

I have been using this shop for over 30 years and everyone who has owned it have always been helpful, friendly and offered excellent service and products. Particularly useful to have it during the pandemic. A great asset to out local community. Use it as much as you are able.

If you like the best beers you can buy in a can come here and you will find verdant, wylam, cloudwater, magic rock and more... Bring your beer tokens with you!

Londis is run by a lovely family who keep the shop well organised, stocked and clean. They sell some artisan products such as jam and biscuits as well as basics. They also sell fantastic bacon and sausage, fresh bread and pastries, ice creams and wines. There are two good freezers and a good selection of cereals. The only suggestion I would make is that they could stock locally made cakes. Their selection is not in keeping with their excellent jams, bread and biscuits. There's also a new post office inside with more limited but good opening hours. Shop opening hours are mostly 9am -10 pm. Much nicer than most corner shops. Well done to the family for all their hard work.

Ran by a small dedicated team they stock an extensive range of goods everything you would expect and more from a good old fashioned convenience store. From freshly baked pastries, gourmet meats and frozen goods to hardware stationery and of course off licence and cashpoint facilities. Happy shopping
