I always shop here because my uncle said it's cheap and that I should come here if I want to save money. I haven't tried others yet, but I will do that to confirm if it's cheaper or just overrated
Lidl in Binley is my go-to for groceries, great prices and good value overall. Customer interaction is minimal, which I don’t mind, though I’ve come across a few rude staff members. Wouldn’t recommend the meat, but for everything else, it’s the best place to shop on a budget.
Absolutely ridiculous service. I showed valid ID and Assistant Manager Jonny still refused to serve me, with zero explanation and a bad attitude to match. If you're going to work in customer service, the least you can do is treat people with basic respect. Won’t be coming back — do better.
Had a terrible experience at Lidl Binley Road today. I was at self-checkout when I encountered a problem and called for the dark haired girl with glasses who was working the at self-checkout. As she did not respond to me, I had no option but to call for her again. She had the rudest response for me - "Can't you see I am helping someone else?". I told her that I called for her again since she did not respond to me so I was unsure if she had even heard me. But seriously, is this how your staff speaks to its customers? And judging by the reviews, this is not the first time a customer has complained about this particular staff member and I am sure it won't be the last. She could have just said politely that she will be with me in a minute. That was it. But she chose to be rude about it, which was uncalled for and quite pathetic for her. You should send her for some training on customer interaction. The groceries aren't great either. Empty shelves are a common sight here. I saw peaches with fungi all over still sitting on shelves, clearly they had gone bad but no one bothered to replace/remove them. Never visiting again and will also tell this to my friends, family and acquaintances not to waste time and money at Lidl Binley. Wish I could give 0 stars.

Very busy and unorganised. I go there regularly because it’s close to where I live and next to it there is also Iceland. However, before I go, I’m praying to find what I want. There is no variety of products and there is no consistency of standard products on the shelves.
21/12/22 8.30pm. Almost impossible to navigate the store with a shopping trolley. 3 aisles were completely blocked with pallets and boxes strewn across the floor. Bad attitude by lad stacking shelves although girl with blond hair and Emanuel were helpful. Very off-putting
Great prices on meat and veg. Bakery is one of the best huge loafs for under a pound. Also have this fancy orange juice maker it was delicious but I’d drink it in 3-4 days before it gets a bit sour
