Very very bad customer service. Gave me less than what I paid for and on returning they refused to refund me even in the presence of receipts

  2. Amari Johnson ★★☆☆☆

Poor customer service, no greeting, no assistance, no hello on the tills not even a thank you or bye after buying my items and many products are heavily inflated price wise just because it's in Leicester. I think this is the last they will see of me, mainly pertaining to the customer service level it was despicable.

Great selection of dried beans plus they sell some hot shit(o) that I use in my curry. Friendly staff. Loses a star because their Wa Gwaan was too expensive and the parking is poor.

Easy to get your African ingredients here. Lately there’s been queuing while at the checkout counter. May need to employ an extra cashier especially on weekends

  2. Mide Johnson ★☆☆☆☆

The staff here are very rude, especially the cashiers. They have zero courtesy, lack respect, and insult customser subtly. They packs your items like they want them damaged. To be honest, this is probably the worst shop I've visited since I've moved to Leicester. The staff here work as if they're doing the customers a favour. Horrible attitude.

The store is great to shop at, but rarely ever opens at the stated opening time. Remains a low point and very discouraging every time. Otherwise, courteous staff and good shopping experience.

The availability of the ingredients there is perfect. The sales assistant wasn’t very friendly, not to me, not to any other customer. We asked her if she could give us some advice what we should buy, she said: Look on google!!!! Seriously?! How about helping a customer? Another girl wanted to know the price of something which wasn’t visible, so she asked the sales assistant. Sales assistant which was sweeping the floor at the time, didn’t stop to help the poor woman look! Argued with her that the price was there when it really wasn’t! When it came to paying for our items, we stood in a queue while said sales assistant was sweeping round our feet and told us to move to the side so she could continue sweeping.. This was even though people were waiting to be served!! I’m shocked and won’t be coming here again, plenty of other Afro-Caribbean supermarkets in Leicester. I’ll try them in future.

It’s a nice place to get all you want but the sales lady lacks attitude she’s rude and makes one feel stupid.

Great selection! I found food and spices in here that I haven't found in any other shop! It's like going back to my island! The prices for some items were cheaper than the big supermarkets! Fresh produce was top quality too!
