Lots of cheap frozen options the staff are really lovely too the nicest from a supermarket that I've visited. The ready meals here especially are good value.
Most the staff are really nice but after the ants got in, the vegan range shrunk and I find stuff cheaper in regular stores... I visit a lot less.
Always pop in Herons when in town to see what suprises they have that are priced lower than elsewhere
Food in there for microwave cooking and other cooking meat and veg and air fryer stuff too are good too
Dave is an amazing employee and I if I had a customer service business I would hire him so fast! The guy is radiating amazing energy - he’ll sing along to Adele, recommend a song, help an elderly lady open her fizzy drink by “ducking while opening”, all at the same time efficiently. I hate when people don’t take their job seriously, but Dave has taken his tasks to a whole another level. Customer service done right. I would’ve returned to Heron foods because of the amazing prices, but Dave changed my return date. I had to show off Dave to my friend. Dave is an absolute legend and Dave is the only reason I returned to this heron foods vs the other, closer, heron foods in leicester. He is an example, inspiration and a mood booster. Dave you are made for great things and if Heron foods don’t value you - don’t stick around. I, a random stranger, believe in you, that leaves you no excuse to not believe in yourself! Good place for a bargin good deals
A brilliant shop for cheap finds but if you see something you want buy it as most offers are never to be repeated.
A typical very busy city centre store. Starting to improve with more choice and availability of products. Staff always friendly and willing help.
It's not just frozen food which I used to believe. This place has some great value deals!
