I am happy to say that the service provided at this shop is high class,sad see it closing,I closed my shop in Devonshire road after 35 years of running the largest selection of magazines international newspapers and periodical in Europe after 35 years Knights.so best of luck out your feet up . 5 stars because: * the people are friendly and knowledgeable * they can put you in touch with great locals for pet setting * they stock my cat's food (basically the only store in London it turns out!) * but the biggest draw here is Mika, the store cat. She never tires of pats and tickles and is just ever so sweet and lovely!
very dirty shop with a very unbearable smell , the owner of the shop is a very arrogant person he forces you to buy what he wants

Staff are obnoxious and rude. We try to avoid at all cost. Older man is the worse so arrogant! Over priced and dirty. Saving grace are the groomers in the back.
The owner of the shop, is extremely rude and unable to accept feedback without taking offense. Very unprofessional

Fantastic to have a local pet shop - big but - staff sullen and unhelpful . Just bought some over priced weed for goldfish and watched as the assistant picked out the three smallest and raggedy bits. Not which ones would you like. I want to support local shops but really make it easy and smile and offer a service.
I like this pet shop. I always find the staff, particularly the owners, to be very helpful, knowledgeable and polite. They have a good mixture animals for sale, including snakes, tortoises, Guinea pigs, tropical fish and gold fish. They all seem to be properly cared for in the shop, and the fish I have bought from here have always been healthy. They also have a really good selection of foods, supplements, toys, etc. for your pets. There is also a dog grooming service at the back of the shop which always seems to be busy with lots of happy dogs and owners. The shop loses a point only because it needs a bit of a tidy up and some decluttering. But that's not a big deal and doesn't affect the shopping. Definitely worth a visit.
