   Some good quality wood but how the buying process works it baffled me, its not so simple you cant select what you want walk to the till to pay, first you have to go get a code then go back to the yard take what you load then go back to the till and then pay....to complected for what it needs to be, to much fussy

   Horrendous. We have done 2 previous orders online which were spot on. The 3rd order was a phone order to clarify & check that the amount was right and a continuation of the previous orders, yet its a cock up. The wrong amount of posts the wrong width of wood the wrong treatment ie its plained and should be treated. Mon timber now want to charge nearly £200 to rectify their mistake..!!?

   I started shopping here more recently and the staff that I have dealt with have been incredibly helpful and helped me source hardwood for a personal project, also loading the van using forklifts when the loads are heavy, generally speaking a pleasant experience.

   Well I have used mon timber for at least 40 years even when they were over lliswerry. I am not a regular customer but if I needed timber I would use them has they always give good service and fair prices well today changed that. I want some timber cut to suit my needs all I had off one of the yard hands was all I could do for you is there is a tape and a saw help your self well I did not some might think I am being petty but would I be covered by their insurance if I had accident??????.

   Very good Scaffolding Boards and their cutting service is beneficial. Staff are a nice friendly bunch. It was exciting to see the inside of a timber factory. I would have liked a go at one of their machines.

   Great place. Massive selection of timber and fixings, including hardwoods and in-house engineered timber (trusses and joists etc.) All the lads are really helpful both in the office and in the yard. Prices are very competitive as well. Been recently bought out by Premier Timber so time will tell if any changes take place. Hopefully not.

   Excellent Service From Cardiff Hadfield Road Branch. I am a DIYer who wanted some50mmx50mm square planed timber. I rang, they checked they had it in stock. I went, they got it out for me and even helped me to the car. I was delighted with both the service and the price. Best place for timber around Penarth according to my experience.

   Happy with these guys pretty much got what we need everytime we need them. Prices are fair and decent lots of timber diversity, indoor and outdoor. The boys are on it picking the timber for you and they're forklift driving is top notch always impresses me.
