   Lovely little shop and has all pet essentials including live for for reptiles. Owner/ staff are great and always very helpful and friendly. Almost to easy to find as it’s just next to the post office in the heart of Egham. I come here to get everything that I do not need online eg: pet treats and bugs. I’m always able to place and order of bugs and they are set aside for me to pick up when available. The store is fair priced for a small business and in fact sell a few things cheaper than the main pet stores ie; pets at home. Would 100% recommend

   We was really disappointed when we visited this store today . We was looking for locusts for our reptiles . The staff member got them out from her her desk and shook them to try to find any live ones in the tub . I opened a tub and there was only one alive and the rest were dead at the button of the pot . The staff member tried to tell me that it’s just because it’s too cold in the store and when you get them home they will liven up . Im sorry but if something has died I’m sure a little heat won’t bring them back to life Im not silly . It does make me laugh that they still want over £2 for the tub . I think they really need to be trained on looking after livestock whilst in store and maybe have a heater to keep them alive so they can be sold at least walking around the tub . I hope this can give an insight to any other customers .

   Hi All Unfortunately (having never had a problem with this store before) I had to return my kitten's 2nd collar as the clip had broken. It took over a week to contact the manager and the other shop assistants were not able to make exchanges without her authorisation. When I finally spoke to the manager she said that she could not offer me an exchange as the collar was clearly worn. I'd had it for around two weeks (I would have expected the product to stand up to far more wear than that). She told me that the store could not afford "good will gestures" and that the manufacturer had refused to refund to the store. She wouldn't give me any details for her contact at the manufacturer who'd refused to help and proceeded to talk over me whilst I tried to explain my problem. After about 2-3 she turned her back on me to serve a customer who had just walked in when there was an assistant on hand able to help the other customer. The collar was priced at £2.50 and I'm quite angry that this amount should be considered a loss given I've spent around £50 in the store over the last month. My experience shows that as long as you are a paying customer you should be well treated but should you have a problem with any of the products you are unlikely to receive help/customer service. What happened is a shame as smaller stores rely on their reputation which they have ruined in my eyes.
