This Pets at Home branch is very organised and professional. There was a warm greeting upon entry to the store from Bart and then a lovely young lady supported me with information about hamsters. Not only did she confidently know all the genders, she even knew the Individual temperaments of each hamster. This is a different experience to the other pets at home branches I had been to.

We would like to review the wonderful staff and vets at this practice. They have a been wonderful over the years, looking after our dog Mr Darcy and helped us through the challenging time at his end of his life with warmth and compassion. What lovely people you are

I usually have very positive experiences in this store, but unfortunately today's unnecessary ear pinching episode at the groomers has blemished all the kind, forcefree services offered throughout the store. AI says: Ear pinching as punishment for dogs is an aversive training technique that uses pain or discomfort (yelping) to modify behavior, often seen in older methods like "force fetch," but it's generally discouraged by modern, positive trainers as it causes fear, anxiety, and potential ear damage, creating negative associations rather than true understanding.

We had a great time at Pets at Home. Very few pet shops have fishes in tanks, rabbits and guinea pigs to pet or a vets on site. The kids love it there, and when you can't get to an aquarium, farm or zoo to see animals, it's a brilliant free option for entertainment. On top of all that, the store is exceptionally well stocked and the staff are helpful and knowledgeable.

This store gave me some of the best customer service I'd ever had. I brought a nervous dog in, and one of the members of staff spent some time with him making him feel at home. They were warm and welcoming, helped me find things that I needed, and gave me some tips on how to save money through their app. I didn't know the weight of my dog to get a got fit for a harness and they took me to a scale and even got a treat for my dog to encourage them on. They helped me set up a regular delivery of fleaing and and worming treatments. I'll definitely be coming back, just for the customer service alone.

Great store with friendly helpful staff. Nice to wander round & see all the animals too. To stop myself from buying loads I usually order online but I needed cat litter before the delivery was due so I ordered for me to collect....... Great service, I notifed them that I was there from my confirmation email and my order was brought out to me & placed in the boot of my car! So easy to use!

I have shopped for about two years at this store for fish and fish supplies. Up until today I would have given 4 stars, but sadly, today I saw SO many sick and dying fish my heart broke. The black moor goldfish: about half were visibly sick, and a good handful were gasping for air, thin, with poor scales, and hardly moving… Betas: I saw a dead Beta in the filter, and many more looking lethargic. See picture three for evidence of this. I bought two black moor fish a long time ago, and one was poorly just like the ones in this tank: I have always been so careful to treat my fish well, and I realise the sickness was not my fault! When the shop that sells them is killing them… I truly am sad to give this review as I have previously had a good experience with some knowledgable staff. Perhaps these staff left and the new staff are responsible for the neglect leading to so many fish being so severely sick. After two years of being a customer, I can say I am disgusted at what I saw in store today. I will not be returning for this reason. The only reason it’s not a 1 star- I have had good customer service over the two years. As a fish lover: please do not support a shop that kills its fish, and has such unhealthy stock. (Picture three shows a dead beta in the filter)

We went to the store yesterday to buy a tank and various essentials/accessories to prepare for my daughters first small pet fish. They had a great variety of products including lots of well-known character ornaments to put into the tank. The staff in aquatics were very helpful and ensured we got everything set up correctly for the fish we planned to buy the following day. Very informative and friendly. Today we took our daughter to choose the fish. The staff member, Matt, served us and he was amazing with my 5 year old daughter. He went out of his way to choose specific fish for her so she could tell the difference between them and was so welcoming and helpful. Thank you so much for making my daughters day! Went back a week later to get more fish and two shrimp. This time served by another gentleman with brown hair. He was really helpful and amazing at his job. Very informative about every aspect of the shrimp and fish. Thank you again for your help!
