I'm not a fan of ALDI. I find the range of "own brand" products a bit uninspiring and dreary and not as nice as the similar supermarkets. In North London where I lived, there was often lots of disappointing gaps on the shelves on even normal days not just weekends or late in the day. Stock control was terrible. I have to say I go to the L*D* nearby which is always well stocked and importantly, they sell premium brands next to their own lovely range of foods.

Lettuce I bought only 45 mins ago is infested with insects and the garlic I bought is rotten inside... And I just noticed that the jumbo king prawns go out of date tomorrow and the whole salmon will be off in 3 days... So much for Christmas lunch

Nothing quite like some old fashioned discrimination and racial profiling.. Literally got my belongings searched though by an employee who said it was policy because I didnt buy anything and brought a bag so that makes me suspicious, And that it's policy to invade my personal belongings in these circumstances.. Rubbish! They dont search the prams or bags of white women when they leave the building do they! But no because I'm a young male with a darker complexion I'm a likely suspect? Just because you arent selling what I was looking for doesn't make me suspicious. So the complete surprise of the employee is hadn't robbed the shop, i just couldn't find what I needed.. It's a supermarket, not a airport. Stop being so racially paranoid, Get a grip before you get sued.

Took my disabled partner into the toilet as she requires assistance after having a major brain bleed a year previous. And once in there Aldi staff and security were banging on the door shouting at us telling us only one person was allowed in the toilet at a time. Not taking into consideration that my partner required someone to help onto and off the toilet, even thought she entered the shop clearly wearing her disability badge. Exceptionally rude staff and security. Would not recommend

Great Aldi, plenty of space for parking and easy to locate. The Isles are neat and well sectioned, and the staff I've encountered are very friendly. It can get busy at times but that doesn't affect shopping, however the retail park in general can be difficult to drive out of due to traffic lights at the entrance.

Got good foods and vegetables too cheap and easy to walk there

Decent array of products at good prices; the shelves are pretty well stocked too. The only downside is that the queues to pay are invariably enormous and I often spend as much time queueing as I do actually shopping around the store.

A good clean and tidy store, easy to get to and plenty of parking spaces, great prices and the middle aisles always have surprises

A good store that's normally well stocked and clean. Queues at the tills are controlled well. The store is located in a busy and popular part of Cardiff with plenty of other shops and restaurants around. Due to this at times this store can get very busy. Best time to visit is when the store opens in the morning.

Always has a full range of every food l need, fresh and very tasty. Lots of space between isles enough for a wheelchair also on ground floor. I don't know if they deliver.
