Good quality and wide range of products, tidy stocks. Glad that authentic Japanese sushi is available now. Prices are generally more expensive than other supermarkets but acceptable when on sale
It was very rosé and I didn't have to wait. What a lovely place, they like serving people, very good and glad and great. Bruddy rubry, shot hit.
A useful smaller supermarket, which stocks a wide range of items, some of which you wouldn't get in other supermarkets, which is useful for some recipes. You could easily do your weekly shop here, but I suspect that your total bill will be higher than that of other grocery chains. Having said that I think the product quality is high whether you buy fresh or frozen or just chilled. One of two supermarket chains that I can think of that still have a fresh fish counter, with a wide range. Also can get a small selection of John Lewis household items in store too. Highly recommended for selective shopping.
Be careful, the staff here seem a bit racist. Last year (15/10/24) I was at the customer service area to pick up a JL package I ordered online. There was a woman in front taking ages sorting out some issue with a dress. I was probably waiting 10 minutes (no problem I can wait). In the last minute another shopper comes and stands next to me. It's finally my turn and the cashier speaks to the other shopper (white woman in her early 40s I'd assume). I say, 'excuse me I was here first'. The worker doesn't even look at me and says to the other women 'Don't worry, he's just an uber driver.' I reply 'excuse me I am not an Uber driver'. She then apologises, looks sheepish and quietly hands me my package. I was clearly judged, dismissed and thought of as lesser for being brown. Plus even if I were an uber driver, do they have lower priority queuing in waitrose?
This is a great store. A great selection of everything. Clean and a nice place to be. Staff are amazing too. Will go again soon. Just went again and still amazing. Went again, prices seem lower than I remember which makes it even better. Great store
The staff here are amazing. I was shopping here for a birthday. I was quite distraught having just lost my Dad a few days earlier. The lady on the cash register was so supportive and understanding and blessed me with a little gift as well. It was so lovely and I just wanted to share my experience. Thank you. I have never had a bad shopping experience at this store.
Staff indifferent. Cafe staff don’t know how to make the drinks they offer! Tangible decline in standards noticed over the years.
Store was stocked and well presented. Checkout colleagues were helpful and very pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. Coffee and pastries before shopping was so good. Clean, light and bright Cafe.
