Good experience. Good location, ample paid parking space available. Small cafeteria inside. Reasonable prices. Planetarium show was well. Kids and adults will enjoy the visit. Rockets, models of planets, rockets, science history, world events, mission to moon etc, space exploration history etc displayed. Excited to see piece of moon on display. There is a Abbey pumping station museum nearby next to the car park in walkable distance. Worth a visit, keep atleast half a day or more if you wish to stay for planetarium show as well which happens two - three times a day. Will highly recommend.

We had a great day overall at the National Space Centre, but I was really disappointed with the lack of inclusive food options. There’s still no vegan ice cream available. It might seem minor, but for families like mine it really matters. My son has a severe cow’s milk allergy, and it’s heartbreaking having to say, β€œNo sweetie, they don’t have vegan ice cream,” especially in 2025 when allergy-friendly options are so commonplace. It was also really disappointing to see that we had to pay an extra 50p just to request oat milk. For families managing allergies, this just feels unfair. Dairy alternatives shouldn’t cost more β€” they’re not a luxury for us, they’re essential. Please consider adding vegan ice cream pots and removing the surcharge on oat milk. It would make the experience much more inclusive and accessible for everyone. Fantastic venue, but these small details genuinely impact families with allergies. I really hope this can be improved.

The NSC is an amazingly well curated museum with interactive elements and immersive shows in the Patrick Moore Planetarium inside, shows last 25mins. They even have a real rocket! and you can take a lift to see it from above. It's well suited to kids and adults (we never grow up really) and you can touch space objects and interact with some scientific tools and even play some games to test your astronaut potential! I spent 2ish hours there and there's still more that I didn't get a chance to experience. Tickets were Β£20 & that gets you an annual pass. The cafe they have is great too, they do hot food and good coffee and even an awesome giftshop! You gotta go :]

Where do I start. The place was amazing. The staff and the exhibits were exceptional. So much great information to digest and lots of things for little ones and bigger little ones to do. There were a lot of people in, but it never felt packed. The cinema show was brilliant and way more immersing than we thought it would be. The gift shop had a great collection of toys as well as interesting gifts specific to the Space center. A great day out and it would've recieved 5 stars if it wasn't for the poor cafe that was let down by a lack of choice and the cleaning of the eating/utensil areas which was really poor. The staff serving were great super friendly on all departments but the eating areas were disappointing. Still won't stop another visit to this wondrous place.

Really like this place with the kids, we got a family ticket in Jan and you get to upgrade free to an annual pass so we’ve been loads, it’s good for all ages, my 3 year old and I go the most. It’s good for a hour or you can stretch it the day with the kids. None of us get tired of going up the rocket stages. There are loads of fascinating things to look at interact with and read, we go a lot and always find something new. You can take your own sandwiches and eat at their tables, when it’s busy they open up multiple lunch halls and seem very accommodating. The coffees and hot drinks are very nice and reasonably priced, the food is limited. The toddler days are very good with activities and sing songs and the like, be warned some of the days are premium and you won’t get in with an annual pass. The shop has some good bits for under a fiver for the kids with the pens, pencils, badges and things like that, there are some expensive things as well. A good trip out with the kids.

What a fantastic day out. We spent 6 hours there and did not see everything. The planetarium is a must do and the kids and adults will enjoy the lecture on how rockets work (bangs and flashes). There are many interactive displays and lots of information about the space time line. The parking is only Β£3. for the day and the cafeteria was not too expensive but you can take your own snacks and drink.

Fantastic day out, that good we upgraded to get an annual pass. I don't know who was more excited me or the kids. Plenty to see, lots of interactive stuff available for the kids. Gift shop & restaurant reasonably priced & the staff were approachable & friendly. Even though it was half term it was not as crowded as I dreaded beforehand.

It was a fantastic place for the family to visit. Very informative and lots of interactive stuff to keep the kids attention too. The Auditorium was really cool and a great experience , a must do while your here. You can bring your own food if you choose too but they do have a decent selection of food here too to choose from and drinks. Decent gift shop also. Would recommend anyone to go that enjoys anything about space.

An amazing place for kids and adults alike. I've been wanting to come here for ages. There's loads to see, you can spend many hours here learning about the history of rockets, space travel, the planets and universe. Parking is Β£3 for the day and there is a canteen for snacks and stuff. There's lots of walking involved and the lift to the top where the tips of the rockets are is impressive! Don't miss the weather recording booth. It's a must and so much fun! You can put your email address in and have the video sent to you. Also one of the best things to see and experience is the largest planetarium in Britain. Be sure to not miss this and tilt your seat back for the show - mind-blowing! There is lots to interact with so beware of queues but the experiences are well worth it.
