Take a look at the recent Escape reality Cardiff reviews and this will tell you all you need to know about this company. I'm sure the staff are great at this branch but the main company are diabolical - do not use them! Give people their money back!

Disappointing, I was expecting better. The hints on the iPad were one step behind therefore all the hints were not relevant in real time in the game. We had to continuously call the host in if we needed a hint. The host was friendly and happy to help. The 2 out of the 3 rooms were absolutely freezing. Highly recommend, keeping your jacket on whilst in the rooms.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, they explained everything nicely and even offered to take some photos for us as the end. The experience itself was great in a group. Was pleasantly surprised! Not too hard, not too easy; fun for a birthday or just to hang out!

We came on a Monday, and it was quiet. We worked in the 4/5 hard rating room and it was difficult. We got into the room and the iPad that is meant to give hints was not working so we had to use the help switch which meant a member of staff had to come in to help us. So we used the button when we was stuck. The middle room had a leak in the ceiling, a huge hole in the ceiling and it was dripping so there was a puddle of water on the floor. Then we asked for help and he came in and just gave us the answer and walked out without explaining it to us. He had no customer service and was quite rude. Then in the last room one of the objects that we needed to use for the clues was not working properly. Although his colleague was nice one of the guys were rude and was unnecessary. Also it was really cold considering we’re in winter there was no heating

Very disappointed. We have used this escape room before (we are running out of new escape rooms in Leicester!) and had a great experience but that was a few years ago and things have definitely changed! We were told to get there fifteen minutes early for our 5pm booking. All the staff were behind the desk watching some sort of videos by the sound of things. At 5 to 5 one member of staff suddenly realised that they needed to reset the room we were booked onto. Considering there wasn't really anyone else in the building at the time they could have done this earlier. When we got going in the room two of the puzzles had clearly been left already solved by accident (or had previously stopped working and they hadn't bothered to replace them). Another of the puzzles quite clearly used to be electromagnetic but had stopped working and they hadn't bothered to fix/replace. If this escape room cost alot less then perhaps this would be excusable but for 100 quid for 5 of us, it seems a bit like daylight robbery. If you want to do an escape room in Leicester I'd advise looking elsewhere (where the staff are more enthusiastic and the rooms are less 'tired') Real shame as this place used to be great!

Absolutely loved doing the "bank Job" escape room today. The rooms are really logical. Challenging but achievable. Staff are friendly and welcoming too.

Wow, so much fun, we made it out with 4 minutes to spare... phew, we thought we weren't gona make it. A special thanks to Mo and Oscar, you guys are wonderful 5*

A super set of escape rooms. We had two groups of four, one in Jungala and the other Enigmista. We were greeted by Mo, who looked after all well. Facilities are good with loos, lockers, and so on, a decent waiting space too. I was in Jungala. The room itself was slightly tired, plenty of frayed edges, chipped paint, and the like, but it didn't take away from the puzzle, the twist and turns, the challenges and our overall enjoyment. It's much more hands-off from the staff than other rooms I've done, there is an iPad that deals with hints and clues in an automated fashion - in person advice is an exception (though available). I'm not at all sure I preferred that, but it's a relatively minor point, and if anything shows how technically advanced they are. The other team also enjoyed their room. I cannot count how many rooms I've done, this certainly ranked amongst the better ones. Strongly recommend a visit.
