One little question could not be answered and i was asked to phone 'customer services' when I got home. I wasn't going to as I thought it would be a waste of time, but changed my mind - and it certainly was!! Customer Services (sounding like a house in the Philippines!) said I should have asked in the store!! They put me through to the store and while someone held their hand over the phone the 'Store manager' say " Just tell him......" and then it was muffled and I was then cut off! Great stuff, I must return soon !!!

I go for the sandwiches at lunchtime. Baguettes not as good as they used to be, why is the bread soggy now - they should be crusty! Better selection of crisps for the meal deal would help too.

Not been to actual store since covid. - only fuel station because it was in the open air. Went this evening but won't be going again. Customer service was not good. Asked staff for help and waited. Unfortunately, the staff member forgot about me. They did apologise when asked again 10 minutes later but I won't be shopping there in future. It's now as bad as the fuel station has become. It just doesn't seem as good as it was. Self-service was OK but I will shop elsewhere from now on. Shame, as pre-covid, it was my favourite shop. Every member of staff was always friendly and helpful back then. Recent attack on an elderly customer is now also a consideration. I hope that the photo on Facebook has enabled the attacker to be identified. I was unaware of this. Wouldn't even have risked visiting if I'd known beforehand. More security staff needed?

Recently I reviewed the Cardiff Bay ASDA. I gave it 5 stars. This Morrisons deserves 6. Need I say more? Well, I will anyway: my favourite section is the Meat/Seafood Counter. I had a long chat with the butcher/fishmonger, a very knowledgeable and personable man, who, after I had expressed my delight over the selection and quality of the fresh fish, explained that Morrisons has its own fishing fleet and fishery in Falmouth. So, after some deliberation, I chose a whole fresh plaice, a skate wing (called Ray here, I suppose because it is a member of the Ray family; eg, Sting Ray), each 1/2 the price of a tiny piece of farmed salmon in most other supermarkets. From the freezer, I selected mussels on the half-shell, some king prawns, and some calamari (a fancy name for squid; after all, you wouldn’t go into a five star restaurant and ask for 6 squid, would you? The waiter would think you were asking for money: six squid sounds like six quid (Β£6.00), doesn’t it? Hearing my verbal delight, a passing fellow customer said, β€œYou must like your seafood. To me, seafood means I see food then eat it.” β€œYou could say that,” I replied. β€œI thought I just did,” he quipped. I could have bought more, but I’ve only got one mouth to feed: mine. As for the rest of the store, my delight continued. I mean, not 1 but 2 litres of high quality ice cream for just 2.00? At the checkout, I asked the cashier, β€œD’you like working here?” β€œI love it,” she said. β€œI remember when Morrisons took over the American giant Safeway,” I said. β€œThey’ve done well, haven’t they?” β€œYou could say that,” she said, smiling broadly. The store is spacious, well laid out, clean, and there is a lovely little cafeteria, and the free car park rivals that of the Principality Stadium. I have one complaint, however, and it’s a serious one that needs addressing: I am 77, I just got out of hospital, I am in constant pain with my back and rely heavily, both physically and psychologically, on my walking stick, yet there is nowhere, absolutely nowhere, to sit, not even at the taxi rank where I had to wait a long time for a taxi. The shopping-trolly man was sympathetic, as was the taxi driver, who carried my groceries into my home. Get your act together, Morrisons, and do not come back by saying, β€œWell, you could always shop online for home delivery.” I don’t want to shop online. I cannot banter with staff and other customers online, there is no cafe hidden in my smartphone, and when I want food I want it now, not in some future time slot. Go to Morrisons immediately! You won’t be disappointed. If you are, you need to have your head examined.

Sorry not available Sorry not available Sorry not available Sorry no bread The usual response from Morrisons cafe here anytime I come for a breakfast. More diversity in the staff required how you have no stock available and reside within a superstore. Has been the same for 4 years since it opened

My partner and I went to shop in this store today and I have never felt disrespected by the security staff like I was today. With us was a bag of household items and bedding we had bought from the range and only went in to this store to pick a few essentials only to be stopped by the security on the way out claiming he wanted to see our bags! The audacity of the security to demand we open our bags. If they had an issue with us walking in to store with shopping from another store why did they let us walk in at the first place. If I was not African I believe they would not have done the same. Moreover, after going through our bags and seeing the receipts the security never apologised for the harrasment. This is so wrong. I doubt I'll be going back there. Next time treat your customers with respect regardless of who they are
