Good quality, fresh, tasty vegetarian Indian food. I had tadka dal and paratha and it was delicious

Love this place. Everything is prepared fresh! It has gone up in price a bit but still on the cheaper side especially given the quality! It is also nice to have the shop nextdoor connected into the restaurant. The samosas absolutely melt in the mouth and the dosa is very well filled. Restaurant is closed for a break from 3-5pm

My favourite place to eat! Deliciously authentic veg Indian food, service and atmosphere, I seek Maruti's out every time I'm passing through Cardiff. Highly recommend a thali or dosa, and the Dal Kachouri are the best I've ever tasted

Fantastic value, friendly and welcoming staff, good selection of Indian food made authentically with love and care. I ordered the Maruti Thali special, onion bhaji and Mango Lassi. The mango lassi was thick, creamy in texture and the perfect level of sweetness. The bhaji was a little overcooked and stodgy, but had a nice flavour. The thali had the largest range of elements I've ever seen in a thali with each one tasting unique and complimenting each other. Both curries were rich in their depth of flavour and were bursting with flavour. Overall a lovely experience and I would definitely go again.

What an amazing place with beautiful home cooked food! Definitely worth going to, the food doesn't repeat, give heart burn when drinking alcohol and actually tastes so so nice. And we paid less than £30 for a heap of tasting food. Will never go to an Indian restaurant again that charges extortionate amount of money and leaves you feeling very oily!

Call it whatever, but the served "thali" isn't even worth £6, I wonder why they charge twice of that, even on a limited offering. If unlimited then it's value for money else, it's definitely not, it's just like un-indian to have something without feeling a pot full!

We come here every time we visit Cardiff. It's a little gem! On one side it's a small Asian super market with a fab choice of foods and ingredients and on the other you can get the best freshly made massla dosas (among other home cooked vegetarian food). There are only a handful of tables and it looks scruffy and more like a storage area than a food place, but it's clean and the food is simply delicious (and great value for money)!! Absolutely love it!

Basic cafe but delicious food. I've been going here for perhaps 30 odd years and it's food has always been excellent. The Thali is wonderful and such excellent value. If you like authentic food then go no further, this is the one!

A really Authentic and humble vegetarian restaurant along with a grocery store near Cardiff Central Railway Station. With multiple food options and various Indian Cuisine, It hits the right chord with nominal prices. I had this Thali along with Kachori which was quite tasty and is enough to share with two people. A must visit if you are looking for authentic Indian food in Cardiff.
