    Was a great store, unfortunately they've got rid of the small baskets. I'd often (nearly 100% of the time) grab a small basket and end-up buying more than I planned. That was up until today, all small baskets had been removed (checked to see if there were any by the tills), went to another nearby supermarket instead. Does Lidl not want my money?

    Most affordable supermarket particularly for students. In a good location right at the start of Cathays. However mainly only the basic cooking ingrediets and overall food items

    The wonderful bakery lures you in but you stay for the middle of lidl, the 'aisle of dreams' where you can pick up wooden toys, welding masks, label makers and snowboard pants. Great value food and drink. The best Croissants outside of the EU.

    Busy, busy! Full of new or returning students and their parents making sure their children had enough to at least last a week or so of university life. The queue at the checkout soon cleared and there was ample space in the car park. I think my son will be returning frequently and he noted he'll need to download the Lidl App himself now...
