A great express store. Had a post office to the rear too. Can be tricky to find a parking space around lunchtime. Excellent produce and service by the staff. No faults whatsoever here.
Post office staff, these 2 ladies behind the counter Karen and Debbie fair play a amazing job fast and efficient service with a smile more staff like this is needed keep up the good work ladies
I came here yesterday with my 6 year old, and I was trying to purchase a monster energy drink, I go to pay and they have the audacity to ask who the monster is for, and then further asking for ID, now bear in mind I’m 29 and I do not look under 25 by any means. At this time I didn’t have my ID and got refused the sale. Ridiculous
My husband was just shopping and was at the till. A gentleman was being served purchasing some food and a 4 pack of beer. The lady serving told him he couldn’t purchase the beer as in her opinion he was too drunk. In my husbands opinion the chap was completely coherent and did not appear to be drunk. He said I have had a few pints in the pub but I am fine. The server stated I can’t serve you alcohol but do you want the food, he said no thank you and left the shop. My husband asked the server if she was qualified to determine if a member of the public was intoxicated and she said it’s my managers decision. Since when has Tesco been legally entitled to POLICE the public, as to whether, in their opinion on looks alone a person is too drunk to purchase alcohol. They are of course unqualified to do so. Just shocking, God help us all.
Let down by the post office staff who are rude, unhelpful and outright hostile. Not an isolated incident, it happens consistently. Not the best people to be customer-facing
Got barked at to follow the arrows when I back-tracked a couple of steps on an empty aisle. Fair enough, but that same staff member was walking up and down the aisles herself. Seem's a bit odd that the rules don't apply to her. Then I listened as she discussed with a colleague how "some people are thick and just don't get it". I appreciate these are difficult times and the rules are important, but this was unnecessary and unprofessional.
I would like to congratulate the 4 members of staff on tills today when I called for flowers. It was crazy busy and you all carried on smiling and doing a great job . Well done !!!!
Good store has alot of parking space available the is a post office also in the store with great friendly staff all around offers all your basics and the local ATM will let you withdraw £5, has an amazing out side view of the mountains and Welsh landscapes is one of the most scenic Tesco stores I have ever been to
