I would have given a 5 star but its unbelievably cold in there. Its very cold out today but colder walking in there. Feel sorry for the Staff. This is very unhealthy for them and can lower their immune system.
I've been there twice, it seems to be a fine shop with a shield for the cashier due to covid.
In a handy location, the store is great if you need to collect a parcel or grab some milk. All the basics are there. There's also a cash machine!
Ok, bit disappointed really, apart from the barman, the other staff seemed flustered and pretty clueless. One of them looking like she'd slept in her uniform. Towel in room had hole in and frayed, bin hadn't been emptied from previous occupant and teaspoons dirty. Not the usual standard expected from a Premier Inn
AKRAM After many failed attempts at running a basic shop, and numerous shop name changes as this family has been bankrupt more times than you can imagine, it is now known as "The Premier", Not the Spar, or Nisa. Its a really pathetic attempt at a shop really, the staff are absolutely bone-idle and such a bunch of nobodies and wannabe gangsters. When you walk in, you are greeted by someone behind the counter playing around with a mobile or tablet, dont expect much help from these brainless tumours, but dont spend too long looking around, otherwise they will start to walk up and down the aisle, pretending to re-arrange some items on the shelves next to you to make sure your not stealing or being dodgy. Not one of these "assistants" have ever had any training whatsoever and their communications skills are pathetic, I dare you to ask for an item, especially this fat lady behind the counter...!! Cringeworthy...
