The Yorkshire Clinic Today, our entire family visited The Yorkshire Clinic early in the morning at 6:45 am for a planned laparoscopic gallbladder surgery, and I can honestly say that the experience exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived until the time of discharge, the level of care, professionalism, and kindness shown by every single member of staff was outstanding. Right from reception through to pre-operative care, everything was calm, organised, and reassuring. The staff took time to explain each step clearly, ensuring we felt informed and confident throughout the process. The nurses, healthcare assistants, doctors, surgeons, and anaesthetists all worked together seamlessly, which gave us great peace of mind as a family. A special mention must be made about the pre-operation briefing. Every detail was explained thoroughly — from the procedure itself to post-operative care — in a calm and professional manner. Nothing felt rushed, and every question was answered with patience and clarity. This level of communication truly makes a difference, especially when surgery is involved. The anaesthesia experience was excellent. I experienced no discomfort, anxiety, or complications at all. The anaesthetist was reassuring, gentle, and clearly highly experienced. Everything went smoothly, and recovery from anaesthesia was comfortable and well monitored. I genuinely felt safe and well cared for throughout. The cleanliness and hygiene standards at The Yorkshire Clinic are simply exceptional. There was absolutely no hospital smell at all, and every area — from corridors to rooms — was spotless. It genuinely felt less like a hospital and more like a five-star hotel environment, while still maintaining the highest medical and professional standards. This level of cleanliness speaks volumes about the management and staff discipline. The surgery itself — laparoscopic removal of gallbladder stones — was performed flawlessly. The surgeon, Dr Paul Mansby, is an exceptional professional and a genuinely kind human being. His manner before and after surgery was reassuring, confident, and compassionate. He clearly explained the procedure, outcomes, and recovery expectations, which helped us feel completely at ease. A truly skilled surgeon and an amazing individual — we are deeply grateful for his expertise. Post-operative care was equally impressive. Nurses and healthcare assistants checked regularly, monitored recovery closely, and ensured comfort at all times. Pain management, reassurance, and follow-up explanations were handled perfectly. As a family, we felt supported, respected, and genuinely cared for — not just treated as patients, but as people. What stood out most was the teamwork. Every department worked in harmony, and it showed. There was a strong sense of professionalism combined with warmth and humanity, which is rare and incredibly valuable in healthcare. In summary, The Yorkshire Clinic delivers world-class private healthcare. From cleanliness and organisation to medical expertise and compassionate care, everything operates at the highest possible standard. It is a place where you feel safe, respected, and confident in the care you are receiving. We cannot thank the entire team enough — from reception staff to nurses, doctors, anaesthetists, and especially Dr Paul Mansby. This is a hospital we would highly recommend without hesitation to anyone seeking outstanding medical care. A truly exceptional experience.

My consultant Mr Henry Watson was absolutely brilliant from start to finish and all the nurses at every part of my journey were such lovely people who gave their upmost dedication to their patients. It is the second operation I’ve had at the Yorkshire clinic and would 100% recommend to all my friends and family. They deserve an award for their excellence.

Overall experience from initial consultation to discharge after day surgery was exceptional. I’ve always been reasonably satisfied with NHS care but Ramsey reaches another level. If the NHS could match it, it really would be the “envy of the world”. Special mention to Miss Gana and her team.

I had quite a challenging time health wise during my hip replacement as it was quite complex (I’m 38 so not a typical case); everyone at the Yorkshire Clinic was exceptional. From my surgeon Ms Grace White who brought in extra support during the surgery to ensure a good result, to Aisha my healthcare assistant who took such good care of me all day. Fiona my nurse who took care of me through the night and Linda in the day. And the physio team, particularly Arif, who were so calm and encouraging. My room was lovely, the food was great and everyone was so calm and attentive. Thank you so much!

Been on Dr Baldos ward, Staff - starting from reception, ending at nurses- absolutely beautiful, best care and friendliness i have ever experienced. Even the food is good (i am the chef) i could write a book about how good everything was. I'd give 6/5 if it was possible. Brilliant!

Waited months for an appointment that then became a telephone appointment, apparently ALL initial appointments are by telephone, that is not the impression you are given when they first write to you. Disappointing when you you've already been waiting several months as it introduces further delay, unless you can now be cured over the phone? I had my telephone consultation and was asked a number of questions including 'are you suffering any hearing loss?' I answered 'no', guess what the answer was from the consultant? 'I'm going to send you for a hearing test'? What for unless this enables you to generate more income for yourselves? I was referred for a specific reason, that being blocked Eustachian tubes, surely I could expect to be seen on the basis that they need to be unblocked/treated? Instead I am referred for a hearing test I don't believe I actually need I've already confirmed my hearing is not affected! Guess what, my hearing test is February 2023, my telephone consultation was 15th December so no help with my problem until after hearing test. What then another 2 month wait??? It just feels as though you're deliberately adding unnecessary investigation to line your pockets!!

Hi guys I have been coming for appointments for an about a 6/9 months via my doctor to get to the bottom of my problem. And the doctor At Yorkshire clinic was honestly the best guy you can chat to about the issues & how & what we going to do. Also they after service is so much better than nhs it’s unbelievable. Bella was my nurse & honestly this girl made my stay so good that i felt I was at home. Bella went above & beyond. The food is fantastic knives & folks etc could do with a better wash. But not going to let that put a negative impact on my stay. Then night nurse very good service & she was very helpful & understanding. No problems. Then comes morning shift. New nurse carra I think. Omg didn’t know my name then was waiting for me to tell her who I am. Then on top of that she wanted to give me medicine when I am clearly not taking any. She was looking for the work sheet or hospital notes looking very confused. So I have requested a new nurse let’s see what happens. I did ask her to send the warm manager. Still waiting. Had a new nurse come introduce her self Emily. Nice nurse. In general they aim is to make your stay as easy as possible. The kitchen staff need to wash they posts & pans more thoroughly as the glasses are unclean & cutlery is stained. Have to re clean before I use. I know you reading this would say request new ones. The. You have that thought have they tampered with my food so have to keep it cool. Overall excellent nice staff so I would highly recommend you having your treatment At Yorkshire clinic In Bradford. Update. 09.33 Had a nice chat with the ward manager who I met yesterday & was very nice. I have explained to her what had happened & she will make sure things are sorted. They do listen guys any issue address it before you leave. Give them a chance. 5* Update 10.46 Just had a nice chat with Debbie from the kitchen & she has explained to me the process as to why the plates etc are the way they are & I am happy that at Yorkshire Clinic they take everything very seriously & act upon it straight away. Overall still excellent service & food is better than your local trust me. Quality at its best. Well happy & recommending to all family & friends to switch. Ps not paid for the review lol. Honestly best experience in 44 years. A big thank you to all staff that’s looked after me from the moment I turned up at 6am hour early lol. Excellent
