   Came here recently when as my puppies were struggling with their diet. Had been to the vets and didn't have any luck with them apart from a hefty bill. Met someone in the park who recommended speaking to the ladies at the shop and wow what knowledge they have! They gave us some great advice regarding feeding out puppies and it was an instant change in them, all thanks to Liz who recommended raw food. We've been back many times to purchase items from them but sadly after 50 years of trading they are having to close this year and it'll be another small retailer gone!!! Please please support them and pop in for you pet food or treats!

   This pet shop is really useful since it’s next to my gym and sometimes I pop in to get an emergency food for my dog or even a toy or something. However, just like some other reviews have noted, customer service could be a lot better. Just like someone said that a smile and even just saying hi to a customer, goes such a long way! I work in customer service in a small business myself and I want all my customers to feel welcomed, this should be a given right? It almost feels like the staff hates working here? At least that’s how it comes across. It’s a shame because I really want to support local small businesses where I can. :/

   Brilliant staff, very welcoming and helpful. It's really a heaven for any pet. Great stock and knowledge. I take my dog here to get her treats and toys and they're always so lovely to Lillie, always giving her attention and treats.

   For a start, the prices are awesome & a large variety of animals & equipment. They've got a very amusing parrot, Rolie, who is worth coming in to look at, even if you're just passing by. We were looking for a new pet bird & needed some advice, which was offered very thoughtfully & generously by the lady working there. We took up a lot of her time, but left very confidently & I will definitely use this shop in the future to add to our family!

   I love the friendly vibe of this place, the excellent range of cat and dog supplies they stock, and the generous Loyalty Discount they offer to regular customers. Sometimes I go just to check in with the parrots and small furry things. Visiting Whites never fails to put me in a good mood. The staff are lovely too.
