The front line staff are just to die for. Calm, pleasant and very credible. Very organised and very credible GPs and nurses. Everyone seems to be trying to find you a solution and not to get rid of you. Highly rated for me.

I have been a patient here for over 40 years. In all that time I can honestly say every GP's has been exemplary. My children have had excellent medical care from birth to adults and when my mother became elderly they were absolutely fantastic with her. DR Dawson telephoned with condolences when she died and even telephoned on the first Christmas she passed. That tells you the relationship they had. There are very few GP's like Springfield Surgery GP's. They are always efficient yet compassionate, and when needed will ensure you are seen and treated. Thank you and keep up the good work!

This surgery is run excellenty. I was seen by Dr Simon Gazeley and as the problem turned out to be nothing, he didn't make me feel like I was wasting his time infact he said I had done the right thing and any other problems to get it checked. He was so friendly and caring. It is a shame that they are too far from where I live as if they were closer I would enroll with them in a heartbeat. Modality should take some tips from them and maybe then the patients in our area would have a good practice again.

After transferring to other GP surgeries in south of England, I must say the service at Springfield Surgery has been excellent. Always able to get an appointment immediately (and not 2-3 week wait). Massive thank you to everyone working there including all the staff at reception and back office.

I can only review the facilities, as I am not a patient there. My wife has had good experiences with her care there. Excellent access for parking and the waiting room is neat, clean and bright. The seating is comfortable, unlike the metal street furniture of most NHS EMS waiting rooms. There is a good selection of reading material, but nothing to challenge the mind. I prefer, as a show of competence, that doctors put their old periodicals or other medical subscriptions out for patients to access and read, though the cost of replacing these might be prohibitive in making them accessable to patients. My dentist used to do this and it was very stimulating to have reading material at an academic level, instead of 'picture books' like hello, or newspaper propaganda of little worth. Grateful that there isn't a loud wall mounted TV as well, some clinics do this and it makes the wait time a living hell of BBC noise. Keep up the good work.

I'm leaving the area and regret that I will have to leave this practice because it has served me very well over 20 years. I've not been a high user thankfully but everyone has always been professional, friendly and accommodating when I needed them. I hope my new surgery will be as good! Thank you Springfield.

Absolutely disgusted with this Surgery, after my mum was ill, and GP called numerous times, to be told by GP ... what do you want us to do about it! And then when phoned again their answer was we can't do thing till Monday, for my mum to be rushed into hospital by emergency ambulance on the Saturday, I will be getting in touch with CQC about this, 82 years old my mum and in a care home, absolutely disgusting behaviour by the the Surgery.

Great doctors surgery. Staff have always been very helpful, professional and friendly. Been with them for a few years now and never had a problem. They've always helped as much as they can.

I have been at this surgery after moving from the monsters across from them. I can honestly say the Dr I see is lovely and has been very attentive to my life long health conditions. Lovely and polite staff. Night and day to the care I was receiving. Thank you for restoring my faith in gps and keep up the good work. Highly recommended surgery.

After being with this surgery for 30 years and having good service, and compassionate treatment from the doctors, unfortunately the recent dealings with the practice has been very much below par. My husband has a on going condition that has got considerably worse recently, and wanted to SEE a doctor to show them how it was efecting his body. He had a telephone conversation and asked for a face to face appointment with a doctor , this was not forthcoming but told to ring back until he could get one, why on earth , when requested would the doctor refuse to see him. Ringing again would only get another telephone conversation. What on earth are G.P.s doing not seeing patients whom ask for a appointment to help them get better or ease symptoms. My husband has not seen a doctor, and is getting worse.
