I've just been talking to family about the most disgusting place we've stayed...out of idle curiosity I decided to read the reviews....it's pleasing, if not hilarious to see that NOTHING HAS CHANGED IN 10 YRS except for the multiplication of the cockroaches and possible bloodstains on the sheets. Happy to say you will never be free of cockroaches while this cockroach maternity hospital is trading as a hotel... I'm glad to find out from the reviews that the moaning and groaning and screams coming from the other rooms wasn't a murder in progress....there was no escape as the windows were jammed just the right amount to only let sub arctic winds in that couldn't be mitigated by the wafer thin bloodstained "blanket" We decided to take up smoking to add to the cigarette butt collection scattered throughout the room (and radiator) Let's not forget having an awesome sub arctic COLD....no FREEZING shower the next morning which fortunately killed any lingering cultures of undiscovered biological substances that may have decided to use this joint as a host overnite... 10 years later and extensive travel you still haven't given me the option for a quarter of a star. There's no suitable description for describing the hotel.....can you add horror please?

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel recently, and I couldn't be more impressed by their exceptional hospitality, especially given that I booked last minute. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Since we were fasting during Ramadan, they thoughtfully provided us with a delicious iftar meal, which made a big difference. Additionally, they were incredibly accommodating when we needed to extend our stay at the last minute, booking us an extra night without any hassle. They even provided cushions to help us relax and enjoy our time there more fully. The level of care and attention we received truly exceeded my expectations. Also the fact we were close to lilycroft road which is full of the best takeaways and restaurants. Also, manninghim park is opposite the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for its kindness and excellent service!

Great area that it’s in because of lister park and a 24 hour polish shop but the first room me my sister and mum stayed in had no windows so was very sweaty and wanted me and my 18 year old sister so share a single bed , we got moved into a room with a window and not a shared bathroom but I didn’t sleep that night as the bathroom had 100s of cockroaches that came out at night , you could hear them scattering around , the breakfast was ok but warm milk and the tea was basically just rice and chips every night , terrible choice considering it’s a family accomodation ,lovely ice cream tho AVOID IF YOU CAN !!!!

Cheap as chips last minute booking for us, free off road parking and free wifi. Our room was next to stairway firedoor and seemed to be banging half the night. Massive TV in room with modern shower, comfy bed normal tea and coffee facilities

Well walk into the room and think spot on that'll fit the travel cot nicely. Then you see the confetti on the floor.... has the room even been cleaned??? No no it hasn't, dirty towel, dirty furniture not that you want to use the floating shelf that is angling downwards. Bathroom not cleaned the shower is disgusting environmental health would be in shock. The dirty walls where thin enough to hear other guests enjoying themself as is a popular activity in these places yet no mattress protector and waffer thin pillows. The dirty and dusty radiator has a cigarette butt and ash in it. Cheap and cheerful no cheap and dirty, we all want a bargain but there are standards to be meet and the basic standard of cleaning certainly ain't envomential health should pay them a visit.

Avoid. 1 star is 1 too many!!! The local youth hostel would be a better bet than here. The first thing that greets you as you walk up the steps is cigarette butts. Nice!! The downstairs toilets were dirty and smelly!! The room itself was smelly, the velux window blind was broken . The ensuite was dirty with stains on the tiles and not clean. Shower hanging off and no hot water!!! The quality of the tiling is terrible and how everything looks temporarily put in place. Tv reception is awful and makes watching tv a no no. I would pay a little bit more and stay somewhere else. I am curious as to how it got a 3 star rating!!

Read the bad reviewsbut supprised when entering the room. It was huge and seemed newly decorated. Large lcd tv, clean beds and quality bathroom. Basic facilities but tea and coffee for the morning and a 'lovely ;) ' view of bradford out of a large window.
