Diabolical. Granted it is a budget friendly hotel but the owners are not getting thr absolute basics right. No doorhandles on the door, no bins in the room, broken mirrors...I could go on. As others have said, they could create great accomodations here and fill a gap in the market Please bear in mind that there music blasting out until 2am in the pub below. Not great.

Do not book! They are scammers, I paid 13 week upfront and deposit, from day one never had hot water or heating, all of us tenants complain and notify them but get ignored, they advertise the rooms as flats although the kitchen doesn't exist, and the communal kitchen has a rusty microwave and washing machine, nothing else, due to the lack of a kitchen and no heating or hot water for over a month at times, I have proof, I gave my notice and moved out with still 2 weeks and deposit, I have been name called and ignored ever since and they refuse to refund me

Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Pub was empty and asked for music to be turned down but wasn’t really turned down at all.

Afraid nothing good to say about our stay. It’s not a hotel, it’s a pub with rooms above. Cigarette buts on entrance and steep, dark stairs to room. The room was tiny with a double bed pushed up against one wall and just enough room to get in on the other side. No double glazing so we could hear the busy traffic. The room was dirty, damp and smelly with no hangers for clothes let alone wardrobe. The bedsheets were stained and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Very noisy, only partition walls so awoke at 3am to hear couples conversation in next room. En-suit tiny but clean. No tray for cups meant tea/coffee rings from previous occupants on surface tops. Horrible, scruffy place.

A better pub than hotel. V pleasant staff. The hotel rooms are quite basic but clean. The live music did not affect us on the second floor. good playing too from a pal of Embrace. Friendly drinking crowd on a Friday night.
