Came to buy supplies for my new puppy. A wonderful staff member called Lina helped me download the app and use the loyalty vouchers to get a discount. Really helpful and friendly branch.
I went on a Wednesday at 2pm, and it wasn‘t very busy. It was absolutely amazing to watch the guy at the register (Gary, I believe) help an elderly lady set up her loyalty card with so much patience. When other customers lined up to pay, he called for another register to be opened rather than rushing the customer. It‘s very rare to see this level of customer service.
I was v impressed with pets at home Debden Alex went above and beyond to help my 6 year old choose her hamster and the right things for him. He firstly made sure we had everything we needed before purchasing our new little pet. He then made her sit down and showed her everything she needed to know about her new hamster. He got her to pet him and even did a quick health check also telling us what to look out for if he was to become poorly. The whole experience from start to finish was excellent. It made my daughter feel special and a memory she will never forget but also teaching her how to handle her new pet too. I was extremely impressed even down to choosing the pet that suited our family most and size cages etc that’s needed. It makes me very happy to know these fur babies aren’t just being sold to anyone and hopefully all of them find a loving home. Thanks to Alex and the team at pets at home Debden for making me and my little girl v happy and for making sure every pet is cared for correctly.

I visited Pets at Home in Loughton the other day, and let me tell you, it was a wonderful experience. I got some help from this friendly lady named Tia. She really knew her stuff and gave me awesome advice on which dog food would be perfect for my pugs. With her warm and helpful attitude, picking out the right food felt like a breeze. The store itself had a bunch of choices, and Tia's assistance made my trip really enjoyable. Thanks Tia my pugs are extremely happy with their new food!
this pets at home is the best one I have ever been into. The staff are knowledgeable and will advise you on safe and unsafe items and have a genuine care for the animals. I have spoken to two workers in there (one guy with very dark hair and a lady with long blonde hair) both of them care about the animals well-being in their new homes . I have never had an unpleasant experience in this store.
Products all over the place, Shelfs say one price....the people at the till say another, Go to the shelfs and show them how badly its all laid out, "Oh yea..." No thank you no sorry, Will not be spending my money at pets at home again!!!

I desperately try to avoid coming here if I possibly can. It's almost always (never) a pleasant experience. Ask a member of staff a question...they don't care....escalate that question to Head-Office...they also seemingly do not care. They're just employed to take your cash. Recent example. Cat-litter. Out of stock for over eight weeks. They neither know - nor care. I try to avoid the (seemingly authoritative) woman on the till....she's rude, doesn't really care and comes across as a pedant. Never pleasant. Not good.
Fab shop and the vets are absolutely lovely, best in the area hands down. Had to come here after Goddard Wanstead had been messing my kitten around from 3 months old, I still couldn't get an appointment when he was 10 months old (after repeated calls, cancellations and mistakes on their end). So grateful Vets 4 Pets got us in quickly and easily and the vet that dealt with us was so kind.
