   This summer our 14 year old cat stopped grooming as regularly as she used to and was really reluctant to let us help. Her fur was just starting to mat and she seemed bad tempered and uncomfortable. She’d never been to a groomers before and is frequently aggressive at the vets, so we really didn’t think Pet Universe would be able to help. After an initial discussion with the team, we agreed that we would give her the medication normally prescribed for her vets visits to calm her down and take her along to see how she got on. The team at Pet Universe were so calm and reassuring but we left her there full of trepidation and convinced we’d get a phone call stating she was ungroomable! However to our surprise, we got a text to say all had gone well and she was ready for collection. When we arrived she looked amazing. All her fluffy undercoat had been combed out, the matting had gone and she looked sleek and shiny. After taking her home she’s had a new lease of life and is so much happier. It’s been such a huge relief to find Pet Universe and going forward she’ll be returning for regular grooms!

   First time going here but definitely not the last as the service was absolutely impeccable!! My cat is usually nervous anywhere outside of home but he was so relaxed and his coat looked magnificent after. I would definitely recommend, the prices are more than reasonable with how much care was taken into grooming my cat in a safe, relaxing environment

   My cat Geez is a long haired cat. He is a very adventurous outdoor cat and is extremely independent. He HATES being brushed. I took him to Pet Universe for a Lions Mane cut as he was quite matted as a result of his boisterousness and he has become so much more chilled out and loving since his hair cut :) He is so much happier, seems to be sleeping better and just generally loves being stroked more! Highly recommend, even if your cat choses violence lol, they managed him so well and he looks so cute :D

   Me and my sister have been bringing our cats here for a while to be groomed. Without fail the cats are shaved, bathed and groomed fantastically! Edita is absolutely lovely and super friendly that my anxious cat always warms up to her. Would definitely recommend to anyone for both cat and dog grooming!

   I was recommended to this grooming place. I am absolutely thrilled with the service my Cat received. From the very first moment we step inside the salon we were greeted with kind and politeness. The groomers were very gentle and friendly with my cat. They explained exactly which service my cat needed as it was our first visit. When we came back to collect our cat, I was surprised to see how good my cat looked. She seemed happier and more comfortable and also she looked very fresh. Thank you so much, we will definitely be coming back regularly from now on. I can definitely recommend this salon to others.

   It's the best grooming service around Newham and Redbridge. Our dog feels so much better after visiting Pet Universe. The staff is friendly, they ask in details what we want and need. Not like with our previous experience the dog came back just the way it was.

   Lovely group of welcoming ladies who took great care of our cat Meeshiko. She had a full groom session including a dry bath as it was her first time. When we picked her up she was calm and very happy! A little expensive but for us it was worth the end result to see her groomed very good. As you can see our cat before and after photos clearly she is having the time of her life relaxing. Thank you to all who took great care of her, we will be coming here more often.

   I couldn't have asked for a better service! I cannot praise this Pet Universe Grooming Salon enough! I have a temperamental Persian cat who unfortunately has so much matting that it was time for him to undergo the Lion Cut. The vets originally said that he should be sedated because he really doesn't like the clippers, but I wasn't going to do that to my cat just for a hair cut. So after lots of research I was recommended Pet Universe and I haven't looked back. I was so worried how he would be, but as soon as we got there Edita was just so welcoming, that even the reluctant Mr Fluff was ok (he even let her pick him up which is unheard of from other people besides myself). I felt so safe and happy to have left him with her and then just over an hour later he was ready. I braced myself for the shock of a once fluffy cat ready for his new alien look, but my goodness what a beautiful job Edita did! He looked even more gorgeous! The relief that he was in good hands and the joy of the new look with no matting on Mr Fluff - I know I sound like a crazy cat lady but I was so happy I could have cried. A huge sigh of relief and worry lifted, Mr Fluff is back home living his best life as a Lion Prince. Thanks you so much Edita and team for a great experience! Coming back soon :) xx
