    Thank you, Pearl, for your endless kindness and warm service. My grandma loves her reclining chair, and she's extra happy to know it came from a small business that looks after the older community. We had a wonderful experience with Pearl's Home Comforts and will go back in the future for any home furnishing needs.

    Me and my family visited this store and bought sofaโ€™s, Pearl is very friendly and allowed my grandad to try the sofaโ€™s and made us feel very welcome. She also gave cushions which were only display for free as my grandad liked the design of them. Would recommend this store and recommend highly trying before you buy as sofaโ€™s are about comfort and you must always try before you buy which Pearl recommends anyway. Overall very happy ! Thank you - we came from Birmingham.

    Buyers be very aware:- Going through the process of making a small claims court action. Amazing how all the 5 star reviews have only ever done one review? 05-01-21 Update Well, COVID isn't helping the Small Claims action. But we're not put off. We've requested mediation, months back now, but still no response from the seller apparently. If we were to have this couch taken away and get our money back and we'd be happy campers and never venture near Pearl Danns place again. Two weeks in the living room and over a year stored in the spare bedroom, these couches will be kept, clean and dry until they can be returned. There is no doubt of the win; check the pictures and decide whether or not they are 'NEW'. Just disapointed we don't have smellovision yet. 16-12-19 update BUYERS BEWARE:- Maybe they should not lie about the condition of their products? We bought a 3 + 2 pair of recliners... New?! from a show home?! Apparently sold as seen, and another load of bumph about show homes sell ons (how many show homes are there closing up every week in the country?) Pearl must have them all delivered to her?! Anyway, we're going to get our money back as they are stained, moldy and smell beyond musky. It took two days with a dehumidifier just to get the damp out. Very little was apparent when viewing stacked up in the shop on a cold dark night with the door wide open. Apparently, her lighting is perfect though?! Even when the two-seat is under the three-seat?!? Bendy light folks! amazing. We've tried being friendly and asking for it's collection and refund. But with no more than a shirty Pearl and being hung up on. Trading standards are receiving another complaint to add to their file and it's now going the formal route by trading standards recommendation and using their formatted letter etc. So, folks, if you find yourself in the same position as us, then go straight to them. They have a Pearl folder already. 21-11-19 Thank you for your response Pearl. Please take this couch back and sell it to your trading standards friends and issue us a refund. Having had my good lady shouted at and hung up on by yourself. Please respond to our official recorded letter. I'll get some photo's of your couch online as soon as possible. I'm very glad you have cameras, hopefully with sound, so that you can be heard lying about the state of them. It's sounding like from your responses so far that this will be going to small claims court. How you maintain your 2.5 stars rating is beyond me. 24-11-19 You seem to have caps lock stuck on Pearl? I did indeed offer the delivery drivers a drink and said thanks. Their efforts were fine, unless at a later date, you tell me that they picked up the wrong couch (& that this one was marked up for the tip?). I thought I'd take a thousand detailed pictures of your (brand new, never really sat on show home) product. We have disassembled the offending couches and on advice from trading standards, have put them up in the spare room to keep them warm and dry until this goes to small claims court (or you offer the refund requested and take them away for us). I'm sorry you don't understand the timescales of my complaint. Firstly, we left it with a dehumidifier in the room to get the damp out of it, it was a cold damp night it was delivered and the dehumidifier was still drawing out water on the Monday morning. Last week I was working away and I did my best to complain as soon as possible. Please respond to the recorded delivery letter that we sent. 16-12-19 Dear Pearl, Could you please respond to one of the two recorded delivery letters we have now sent. From the date of receipt of the second letter, you have 30 days until this goes to Small Claims Court. Alternatively, please collect this sorry state of a couch and return our money.
