   Bracken & Black have completed several projects for us and our latest bespoke Oak bookcase and log store is, as always perfection! From deign to build, it is better than what we expected. Joe and Eric's patience to create an idea in my head to an actual piece of furniture was truly skillful and their attention to detail, exceptional. We would highly recommend Bracken & Black for anyone looking for quality bespoke furniture. An outstanding company to deal with.

   New Kitchen… Decided it was time for a new kitchen, and I was looking for a premium quality job. I looked at Tom Howley, 1909, and another bespoke kitchen fitter, and then Bracken and Black. Bracken and Black were recommended to me for their carpentry skills by the chap who had recently fitted some sash windows for me, and I realised I knew Eric Black from 10 years ago. I was pretty sure I could trust him with my job, and his quote was better than all other premium suppliers. Joe Black (his son) then discussed the project with me, and took me to see some of their previous completed kitchens. They have just completed the job, and the pictures speak for themselves, however I would add some points that made them exceptional. I was happy to leave Joe or any of his team (electrician, plasterer, builder, plumber) alone in my property, and actually went on holiday for 2 weeks while they did the messy stuff. The quality of tradesmen involved was first class, and the quality of workmanship on the kitchen furniture was exceptional, but probably the best attribute of Joe and Eric was that when there was any small snag along the way, they did everything they could to sort things out. No argument, just did what was needed. I would have absolutely no hesitation in using them again for any future work I need. Very Impressed. I would also recommend Bellagio stone for worktops, and The Polished floor company for the wood flooring. Before and after photos...

   Eric helped us design a bespoke entertainment unit which we needed to house our vynal, CD’s etc. He measured up and produced a drawing, which he sent to us for our approval. Once the parts for the unit had been made, we were contacted to set an installation date. On the agreed date Jo and his colleague installed it into the room. We Couldn’t have asked for anything better, it’s a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. The guys were very customer focused and listened to our vision, Eric then shared with us through his experience what would look and work best in our chosen room. Couldn’t have wished to meet nicer.

   For us this was the job we thought we would never be able to get done. A job lesser ‘carpenters' were just not willing or capable of taking on. It was in the too difficult tray until, that was, we discovered Braken and Black. To replace two single and two double oversize solid doors with bevelled glass paned ones to increase the available light in our hallway. We searched across the WWW but ready made doors were just not an option, they would have to be made from scratch. Jo and Peter, visited, discussed, measured, designed, sourced scarce bespoke glass, cut and constructed the frames, re-hinged and replaced architraves, hanged, painted and finished the job with the ease of master craftsmen on top of their profession. We are delighted with the result! The doors are beautifully constructed and have raised the interior decor finish of our downstairs to a whole new level. All for a very reasonable price. It's so pleasing to find there are still skilled journeymen willing to complete these tricky intricate smaller bespoke projects, take real pride in their work, and deliver beautiful results. Thank you to B&B for a splendid result.

   We recently moved into a Victorian house and asked B and B to design and fit several wardrobes and units. Their designs were fabulous, totally sympathetic with the period features in our home, but with the perfect nod to contemporary living. The quality of their work in building these pieces was outstanding. Jo and Eric bring fastidious attention to detail and exquisite craftsmanship to everything they do. I can't recommend Bracken and Black highly enough.
