My visit was a complete waste of everyones time. Unable to get emergency dental appointment for an infected tooth socket following an extraction a few days prior, i got an appointment at the oadby urgent care centre. Unfortunately, despite confirming the infection i was advised that antibiotics could not be prescribed at this facillity. I don't use the NHS often, but my experience today reminds me of how poor the service is. Its now clear to me how and why a&e departments end up ovewhelmed. Honestly, I wish I hadn't bothered. My time would be better spent going home and googling sepsis symptoms, you know just in case, as i wait 3 or 4 days for the fairytale that is an emergency dental appointment.

I was sent to the Urgent Care Centre (by 111) on a Sunday after being bitten by my cat and was referred again two days later by my GP. The whole team were friendly and helpful. Everything was explained to me by Mark and Baljit, the nurse, put me at my ease when carrying out a blood test and giving me an injection and later caring for my wound. Thank you to the whole team.

I attended A&E in the early hours of the morning after waking with nausea, sickness, dizziness and disorientation and having tinitus for 2 weeks. The GP I had seen previously said there was nothing they could do and A&E said either wait 7 hours or get an appointment at Oadby Urgent Care. I’m happy to say I chose Oadby Urgent care. I was greeted by Mark, and he had the happiest, friendliest face I’ve seen in a long time when it comes to health care. He took his time to understand my issues/concerns and assured me that he would help. He explained everything fully and prescribed me medication to help with my symptoms and then went ahead and gave me information of exercises to help with the root cause of my tinitus. I left that appointment feeling heard, seen and cared for! Thank-you Mark!

I went here feeling very anxious about a health issue but the receptionist was super friendly and very calming. She was super bubbly at 8am which was refreshng to see. The doctor I seen was reassuring and had a fantastic bedside manner. I was seen quickly and out with a prescription/diagnosis in less than 10 minutes. 111 were able to triage me the night before and get an appointment 1st thing when opening.

We attended today as an urgent referral from 111 NHS due to my Daughter being so unwell with Endometriosis. We saw Mark the ACP who LISTENED to my daughter In fact he is the first Dr to listen to my daughter in over 7 years with this chronic illness. He completed her STATS and tested her for other possible illnesses which he ruled out. He then tried his hardest to get my daughter admitted to Gynocology at the LRI but there was no answer Never the less he offered for us to attend A&E or he could try and treat her with pain killers and we could go home and try get some much needed rest and comfort He was so thorough professional gentle kind understanding and was an absolute pleasure to be in the presence of I have been around Drs for a very long time given the nature of my background and I can honestly say HE IS ONE IN A MILLION and he will be a Dr that we will never forget Thank you Mark. All the best in your career. You have been amazing. A credit to the NHS

Thank god for this place. After ringing my own doctors with no response yet again, we decided to take the chance on going here (walking in) to try and get an appointment for my son who has been seen here before (referred by 111) by a very nice doctor for an ear infection. Doctor told us to come back if it didnt clear up and this was the case. Receptionists are very helpful, kind and polite. Luckily we got seen this time by a doctor straight away who gave us lots of help and advice and listened to our questions. Thank you all.

In the last two weeks we have had two appointments at the clinic. The most recent being yesterday, 19th Feb 2023. Both the receptionists and doctors were friendly, helpful and very organised. Both occasions diagnosis were made correctly. The first diagnosis was made after failed attempts by our own doctor to even get a face to face appointment and the second diagnosis was made correctly following an eight hour wait at A&E where we were sent away with nothing but advice when what was really needed was antibiotics for a poorly 8 year old with tonsillitis! Well done to all the staff for being helpful and thorough.

Attended regarding my son, receptionist was fine but behaviour of the female Asian doctor that we saw was absolutely disgusting! She was of no help whatsoever, no idea why we were referred there when we had to go into a & e, (as 111 had initially stated), before a clinician called back to refer us here. The doctor was huffing and puffing because my son was not complying with all her checks - an unwell toddler not wanting to be poked and prodded is not unheard of! No compassion whatsoever! She then proceeded to question why I had not taken my son to the GP - clearly she is oblivious to how difficult it is to get an appointment the same day let alone the same week nowadays! Absolute joke of a doctor, would rather wait hours in a and e then be seen by her!!

Parking is limited and only a couple of disabled spaces outside. You have to go round the back and through a council flats estate so parking is also limited around there and double yellow lines in the small road outside the Walk- in Centre's car park. Apparently the big carpark belonging to the Tipu Sultan Restaurant next door allows free Patient's parking for a short term period.
