I stayed in this hotel recently as I was on a few night shifts and live quite a distance from work and often find a hotel to stay in if i'm on nights or if I am on training days. I was pleasantly surprised! I was placed in the furthest building which wasn't too far of a walk from the car park, the room was clean, spacious and had everything you need! The hotel was so quiet you could hear a pin drop. They service your room every day and I had left a note asking them not to come in to service as I was on nights and sleeping, the housekeepers fully respected that and left me to sleep. The only things to mention is I feel breakfast times do not take into account people that may have to leave early for work as it is only served from 7.30-9. It would be better from 6.30 maybe? When I am on 8-4 for training days, this would be an issue if I was to stay here. The bed was quite hard and the toilet does not flush well at all even after following the directions on the sign...but I will definitely stay here again!

I had a really nice stay here for a week and wish I could have stayed longer! The breakfast, service, and room were great, and the 24-hour coffee machine was a bonus. The receptionist, who seemed to be a man of mixed Indian heritage, was very kind! I really wanted to give him a tip, but after I checked in, I didnβt see him again until I checked out, which was disappointing. I hope he gets a raise! Although the room wasnβt very clean when I first entered and some of the facilities were outdated, overall, it was still a really nice stay.

Hosted an event for me which was spread over the day and night. The staff on over the weekend were all really friendly and helpful. From the facilities staff, reception, bar, food service, all the staff were great. The food was amazing! We had a hot grilled buffet lunch with cold sides and everyone at the event really enjoyed the food. Lots of vegan options which was well received. All made from scratch, very fresh and tasty. A few of the guests booked hotel rooms also which were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really nice with lots of variety. Location is ideal for walking to nice bars and restaurants on Queens Road and a short drive to the city centre. We will be back next year for our next summer party.

Really good all round. I drove so not sure about public transport getting there but it's definitely more leaning with access via country lanes but it's immediate location is near residential homes. No lifts but wheelchair access. Very clean, friendly, quiet and nice modern decor. No fridge but room has iron board, iron, tea and coffee etc facilities and TV. Hangers but not like ones at home. Very warm and bright room.

The rooms are reminiscent of a student hall of residence. Not surprisingly, as the name would suggest. I stayed during one of the many conferences that take place here. It's a 30-minute walk from the city centre and railway station. A quiet suburb with only a busy pub nearby. This is significant as the hotel doesn't offer an evening meal. Good food, but it is difficult to get a table if you're on your own. The room I had was comfortable, clean, and warm. A great en-suite with a particularly good shower. You can brew tea and coffee. Breakfast is served in a nearby building. Nothing special but a good platform for the rest of your day. The price is fair, and I'd certainly rate it as good value for money.

Stayed here for a couple of nights. Really exceptional check in experience and Estabon went above and beyond to assist in the room check in. The rooms are smallish but the bedding is comfortable with a closet that contains hangers, extra pillows, iron and board, blow dryer and tea pot and cups. The bathroom is spacious with knock your first layer of skin off water pressure in the shower. The entire place was very quiet and very relaxing. The morning breakfast has everything you need and plenty of it. The staff here was very kind and helpful as well.

This was just a visit for Portugal Embassy but this is very well organised place. Neat and clean, good ambience and looks beautiful. Only thing if I want to improve here will be there should be someone to assist people for any event taking place in building and provide them guidance for how to reach there.

Really great, many thanks to staff for making this work for a city break for me and 2 teenage grandsons. Highly recommend. Very good value, safe and pleasant accommodation, safe easy parking, lovely outside space. Beautiful large bathroom, big windows leading to small balcony. Great range of breakfast food, just some of the hot food a bit dry, but loads of fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, Danish pastries, fruit juice. Thanks to Ernesto and team, we look forward to coming back.

βThe standards of service at your hotel were exceptional. The treatment I received was more than I could ever have hoped for. My late arrival was handled speedily by professional staff members who made me feel so special with their solicitous service.β

This is a really good hotel and conference venue. It is not too far from the city centre (Approx 2 miles). It was previously a students' halls of residence but has been converted into al hotel and conference centre. It has been converted to a high specification and there is plenty of parking. The quality of the food is excellent.
