Extremely unpleasant experience at OYO Blaby Westfield Hotel. On the first night, they turned off the lights without any explanation. The smell of cannabis was almost constantly present in the hallways and common areas, which is completely unacceptable for an accommodation that is supposed to offer decent conditions. At first, they did not even want to accept the payment for the room, and later, while we were away, the staff entered the room without our permission. They collected all of our belongings, mixed everything together, put them in garbage bags, and threw them out as if they were trash. This shows a total lack of respect toward guests and their property. I do not recommend this place under any circumstances. It was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had.

I had a very unpleasant stay at OYO Blaby Westfield Hotel. During my stay, staff entered the room without my permission while I was away, and when I returned I noticed that my personal belongings had been moved. This made me feel completely unsafe. The cleanliness was extremely poor: the room was dirty, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, and the bedding looked unchanged. The food was also of very low quality. On top of that, the staff were unfriendly and not willing to help with anything. Based on my experience, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. Unfortunately, the service was far below even the minimum standards I would expect.

Basic but cheap and cheerful ideal for what is needed.. staff very helpful and accommodating no bath towels in the room was happy to get them for me straight away and extra toiletries. Ideal location (30 second walk) to the small village with pubs and shops. Partner was worried instaying as heard refugees were at the hotel no signs at all of any.. very peaceful and pleasant stay. Bed comfortable only problem would have preferred more pillows. Only had one pillow each

Please understand this is a sizeable hotel in a small town whereby many rumours and gossip have been circulating, so going to the new restaurant and trying the food and service there meant a lot to us. All I am thankful of is that a waitress was able to be honest and seemed as shocked and upset as we were in the antics that followed!! There are people βstayingβ at this hotel who are vulnerable and in a state / need of some sort of social and / or mental support. This had a very negative impact on our evening. Note: Do not use the Menβs toilets in the reception/ restaurant area of the hotel, black mould and filthy fixtures and fittingsβ¦ just because itβs a new business, they need to get basic health practices to standard before they open. What is the food & hygiene rating?? Sadly itβs a no and never again from us. Please donβt insult the local community by pretending to be a worthy business and stop acting like it will be sorted tomorrowβ¦ the cleaners hadnβt come that dayβ¦ half a job is still only half.

Working locally. This hotel meets all our requirements. Clean, warm and I have to say the staff have accommodated our ever needs and requirements. Bibble the receptionist was fantastic. We will be using this hotel again if we are working in the area again. It is also going through a refurbishment programme.

Good place to stay for a reasonable price. Parking is good, rooms clean and function well. Location is quiet but close to shops ect. A few miles from the city but feels rural.

Hotel looks in need of painting, but the room we had was perfect for our 1 night visiting, and even suitable for a longer stay. Room was spotless, and had all we needed including tea and coffee.

The hotel has been almost closed during the Covid pandemic and is slowly trying to turn around, they do have rooms that I haven't seen, and they do serve b/fast, I wish them the very best ...

It's a good hotel for the price, the room and decor is no better and no worse than your normal premier Inn. The bathrooms are a bit dated and could do with an update however. The corridor areas could also do with a refresh, the wall paper was peeling off the wall. I'd give it 4 stars if the price was a bit more reflective.
