A pub for the locals so don't expect a 5 star service. Nice people, nice service, can get a bit rough occasionally.

We stayed at the Peacock Inn in Loughborough to attend a friend's 40th. This was our second stay at the Inn. We popped to the pub on our arrival for a drink. The staff and locals are friendly and the location is perfect for accessing the town. Previously we had stayed at one of the chalets that face the pub garden. It was nice to have our own entrance and the room has everything we needed for our stay. This time we had a room booked in the main pub. Unfortunately, there was an issue caused by the previous occupant, which was not the fault if the Inn. The staff dealt with the matter promptly and efficiently and Leoni, in particular, went over and above to make sure we were happy. We were given an alternative room, room No. 9, which we were very happy with. The lengths the staff went to in order to ensure we were happy went over and above what we have experienced when staying at even some of the luxury hotels in the UK. The staff couldn't go enough for us. We were both really grateful and had a wonderful stay. We look forward to staying at the Peacock Inn again in the near future.

I mean you get what you pay for I guess but no bog roll in any of the toilets the entire 15 hours we stayed there! Joke

I stayed in the room on the front, I didn’t like that there was no way to lock the door from the inside I couldn’t sleep properly knowing I was directly onto the road and anybody could have a key to get in! The pub attached is very loud with constant arguments/shouting until gone 12 (and it was a Monday and Tuesday). Room was clean with comfortable bed I just won’t be returning

The best pedigree in the county and the best bass. A real pub with proper beer. This pub is 10/10 for me.

The team were very accommodating and hosted the wake for our mother. This was a specific request that she made before she passed away. This included putting on a bespoke hot/cold buffet which was varied and very very tasty. The chef, Amartya, was so friendly, helpful and organised which meant we could focus on other aspects of the day. They were flexible and put out additional food to cater for the higher number of guests than anticipated. The bar staff were friendly and made us very welcome.

Good breakfast, quiet in November with no serious effect from noise in the pub. Rooms are fine and clean, but they can use some towel hooks or hangers to put your wet towels out. Also some shelf space for toiletries.

We arrived late to the peacock Inn and Dana was extremely helpful at letting us in and showing us our room / the facilities. When we checked out the following morning, the chef was extremely helpful, and made an excellent breakfast for super cheap. Would recommend staying here!
