Shockingly ignorant staff. I was “assessed” by a social worker with mobility issues who talked over me, made ignorant comments about OCD and looked extremely pissed off when I said her disability was visible while mine isn’t. Awful, awful woman.

Had bad experience in the past and referred back here. Received letter to contact them, I did and said not at the moment but please keep me on file. Then got same letter 2 weeks later. Phoned again, then given appointment for DATE that suited me. Now Received letter cancellation and early appointment which not suitable. Will just cancel as this is not helping me. As my old GP name of years ago still on letter I am concerned that I will not have a good assessment. In the end I spoke to a duty psychiatrist on the telephone and he was the rudest health professional I have encountered in this field. He told me there was a big waiting list for their services. I said 'fine, give someone else the appointment'. What are people like this doing in such a job? I paid for private treatment abroad. If I could give this centre zero stars I would.

Absolutely shocking experience here! Im an Occupational Therapist specialising in mental health. I accompanied my partner to a mental health assessment. He is suffering delusions, hallucinations, episodes of manic behaviour, outbursts of anger along with suicidal attempts. We explaining everything going on with him at assessment and he is willing to engage with therapy and medication… they signposted him to 4winds for anger management, sent him a leaflet on sleep hygiene and closed his case. The assessment was by 2 Occupational Therapists and a mental health nurse and I’ve honestly never been so ashamed to work in this profession. The actual lack of duty of care, crisis management and risk assessment is shocking, and frankly anyone making that decision based upon how he presented at assessment should be struck off from practicing.

Community support worker wasn't able to get to my house when I was agoraphobic. My issues were brushed of. I was diagnosed with severe depression at 17 by a psychiatrist yet these nurses tried to put my issues down to "hormonal issues". Complete lack of professionalism, compassion and care. I did not meet one person who did their Job correctly. And their complaints system is also brushed off as the patients seem to have no say. You'd get better treatment and compassion from a doctor in the 60's even with their incorrect thinking, and dangerously damaging treatment options due to the simple fact that they would at least be attempting to make you better. This place is a joke and a huge waste of NHS resources.

AVOID!!! These people can’t even listen to their patient. Asking questions, patient answers and then couple of minutes later asking the same question like they didn’t listen at all. Their report after talking to my loved one was full of mistakes- again because they simply do not listen what someone who really suffers say. On the top of that their advice was dangerous for life of my loved one- to stop taking medication which in fact reduced significantly suicidal thoughts! No compassion, lack of basic knowledge you can get yourself from Google and no willingness of helping my loved one. We’ve been sent there from gp and as the final result they sent us back to gp. It’s sad we pay our taxes to keep them exist.

Refused to help me and pushed me back to the services that referred me in the first place. There’s a reason there’s a suicide epidemic in this country.

Never experienced such lack of empathy that we have experienced from here. They not interested in helping until something happens then everyone comes running. Our GP attempted several times to get someone see her. They were told she has medication review coming up. The GP could not believe it even went and got another colleague They were outstanding . They told us just go down hope they see us if not go straight to A&E. Even then at home time being told need to close up now either come back tomorrow or go to A&E, as they could not get hold of the crisis team. All I can say is thank you to the ladies who continued to try and did eventually. As for the head man in charge your lack of empathy and telling us come back for medication review, I still can not believe. Wanting to go home close up when presented with a young adult I’m crisis. She was admitted same day to high risk come home that day still remains. It’s appalling she has been crying out for help for years. I’m June she see the same man. The concerns cry for help fell on deaf ears. So many are crying out for help their voices not being heard. They experience several changes in consultants each time then your back to square one. If you phone with concerns about young adult they won’t speak to you even though at time your calling for someone in hospital It’s appalling how you are treated especially given this is meant to be about mental health.

The doctors that see you are good. The rest of the service is awful. I am constantly getting forgotten about. Admin skills about 1/10

I've only had to dealt with them in getting my medications back after I moved, so I've only dealt with a pharmacist/nurse a few time, but she has been great and I've felt like she truly cares about me as a patient.

I have been trying to get help from them for a long time. For years I have felt suicidal and depressed and in the year I've been with them I've been seen once. It took them 7 months to prescribe me medication for one of my illnesses which is severe and they just don't seem to care. They say they will call and they won't and when you meet them they seem so false. I even went as far as to look into private medical care they were being so useless but its too expensive so I have no choice but to deal with them. Not in the least bit happy I would even say that they have made my mental health worse !!!
