I have always found this pharmacy to be friendly, polite and helpful. They always have my prescriptions ready and text me to let me know. I have my covid and flu jabs here, and the administering pharmacist is very professional. It is a little bit further to walk to from the doctors but the exercise does me good.
I had a very disappointing experience with Highfield Pharmacy. I was overcharged by £9, and no receipt was given to me — most likely to hide the fact that I was charged multiple times for the same item. This feels dishonest and completely unprofessional. I won’t be returning and strongly advise others to check their transactions carefully or avoid this pharmacy altogether.
The wrong medication was given on my prescription. I called the pharmacy to inform them, the man I spoke with was so rude, spoke over me and held no accountability, trying to make out it was my partners fault for collecting early, despite the doctor informing it would be ready by 5pm. The worst part, the medication listed on the prescription wasn’t even the medication in the bag, the man wasn’t interested and only when I gave the same mannerisms back, did he kind of listen. The service is disgusting. I would have thought in this profession, it would be common sense to realise majority of people they are dealing with are collecting medication, and probably don’t feel too good at that time, so a certain service is required, but then again, you can’t teach people skills or human nature.
Access to the shop is diabolical since they have moved, need to install a ramp and a grab rail to help people who have mobility issues to gain access. I have experienced on numerous occasions one member off staff being rude and it is not just with me I have witnessed her being rude with other customers over the past months so it’s not down to her having a bad day. I think she needs customer service training because people are only asking her questions and she is abrupt other than her all of the other staff are friendly and helpful.

Always helpful hardworking caring people, when I was in distress due to problems ordering my medication through daft, arguably broken systems, the pharmacist took the time to speak to me in private helped calm me down and in my opinion went above and beyond to help me out. Like many people these days they're stuck working in a system that doesn't work the difference to make a good experience is taking the time to care. Thankyou.
Disgusting first time I’ve used this pharmacy because it’s next to the doctors I use ere and Rooley lane This pharmacy has no data protection what so ever Asian lad shouting out date of birth and address over counter … refused to say so he got me to write down My item was out of stock and was told by the Asian lad it will arrive next day deliver Never turned up I rang spoken to a lady called Caron even though I’ve paid for subscription she said it’s out of stock il speak doctor and ring you back ,,lied and obviously no ring back disgusting now hav Nah to Chas again I will ne putting this down to neglect as well
