I've rented through Arch Living since 2016. The rent was reasonable and they are professional and have always replied to any queries and repairs requests quickly. I've moved out recently and they processed the return of the deposit within days.
This was the worst year of my life... I will never be renting from Arch EVER AGIAN. They have the worst customer service ever. They ignore emails and text messages and never get back to you. They BLATANTLY LIE about repairs which will never get done. Very shady company. The owner is condescending and has a God complex and provides the worst service.
I rented a student property with Arch for the last 2 years. Any maintenance issues we had were dealt with quickly. They have always been approachable whenever we have needed to contact them. One of the better agents we have dealt with whilst being students in Leicester!
Awful letting agency. They will do anything to take your money, but will not earn it. First of all, the advertise a "no deposit" scheme, which all seems well and good. In actual fact they take a £150 reservation fee which you never see again, so its worse than a deposit. In addition, their houses are not safe for living. They perform all maintenance them selves, without licences to a bad standard. We experienced many leeks, power cuts, bad smells from the drains and water systems. The fridge barely worked and neither did the washing machine. The rent cost is extremely high, it is not fire safe. One bedroom doesn't even have a window, there are wasps in the ceiling light covers. The roof leeks. Arch will enter your property giving you literally 2 minutes notice via email. they will enter your property when you are not in, without permission. Finally, upon the COVID-19 pandemic, arch refused to drop the rent of almost £2000 by even £200 for a house I would not be living in. They even refused to drop the included bills charge. We also received regular threats from billing companies of court action, as ARCH had not paid our bills. Overall, they take advantage of students naivety, they over charge, the houses are bad quality and their customer service is appalling.
