Dropped in today for breakfast. What a lovely surprise. Great choice of cooked breakfast and continental with fruit juice and hot drinks all for 1 price.

Thank you Kai and Liam who always make our weekly girls night at Cocked Hat fun. We love the rock and roll bingo; really makes our night. Food and service was great as usual. You can't do enough for us.

Stopped with my three children last night, staff incredibly friendly, room was lovely no noise at all two tvs in the family room- only downside at all to the stay was that both were on the same channel (could be that we didn’t know how to work though!) Shower was a little low pressure but still hot and very spacious bathroom. The family room was lovely because the double bed was in a separate section but still in the same space, not all cramped together like most family rooms. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious and included in the price of the room, eggs Benedict for myself were stunning, lots of care taken with the presentation too. A chef/team who clearly take pride in their food quality. We got a brilliant Black Friday deal Β£84.50 with breakfast for myself my 19, 17 and 14 year old children. Cheaper than any hotel in the area and by far better food than other chains. We are usual chose premier inn but this was a very welcome surprise. Cannot praise the staff enough the lady who served our breakfast was so lovely I didn’t catch her name but she had a South Africa accent (we think). We explained my son had had a nose bleed in his sleep on the sheets and it was no problem she was so kind and told us not to worry at all. We will definitely be back again and next time we’ll be having our evening meal there too!

Working away and staying at the premier inn across the road. If I knew there was a hotel I would have booked it. Had my second meal in there tonight. The three people involved were Kai, Katie and Kian. Think it was Kai who served me. Really nice chap and so helpful, chatty and really showed he cared, a real credit to your organisation. The food was so good, the steak was exceptional as was the whole meal and I had loads. Thank you so much for a really enjoyable meal and a very friendly and competent group of staff. Oh last note…tried TGI Fridays…terrible, overpriced and food was nowhere the same standard.

Overnight stay for work with a colleague. Unfortunately I won't be returning. First impressions everything looked good. The room and bathroom looked clean, comfortable and a good size. However both rooms we had were very noisy rooms. We didn't eat here as the dinner being served looked really disappointing. I tried to change room with reception but was told none were available. I then tried to trick myself to sleep by putting a fan on to distort the noise. Unfortunately the fan didn't work! I went back to reception and was told by the receptionist she would replace the fan for me. Came back to my room after dinner and nothing had changed, so just gave up. We stayed in rooms in different areas of the hotel but neither of us slept well due to the noise. My room was at the underpass so all you could hear was the bumping of lorries rather than continuous road noise - which I might have gotten used to. The entrance room to the hotel also stinks! However the shower was a great pressure and breakfast was excellent, so it wasn't all bad. But the noise and service let the stay down and has put me off staying again, they really need to invest in extra glazing!

Clean, comfortable rooms, nice and quiet. Only soap, shampoo and towels are provided in terms of toiletries. Pub next door serves the food which is very good. Very friendly staff.

Arrived late and had to knock them up. They were so nice and never minded at all. Had to buy breakfast separately but it was nice loads to eat. They even gave the children a cake to take with them

Good Value weekend accommodation and friendly staff. Spacious rooms, maybe ready for bit of maintenance in places, but overall good value. Staff really helpful, good breakfast choice, pub and food just the ticket.

The rooms were cleanish. Hoovering under beds once in a while would help. The pub was spacious and staff were so friendly. We didn't book brekkie with the room, but ordered adhoc and it was very good. Just was not happy that they charged us extra for a cup of coffee (Β£3.10!) even though I said we wanted to go for the Β£3.99 breakfast which included tea, coffee, juice. Would have been nice to let us know that we would be charged extra for it because we were going off menu.
