First impressions were very good and my consultation was productive and helpful. I had a consultation via med insurance on a Friday and paid the excess via the telephone on the following Monday. Unfortunately, a month later I received a letter accusing me of not paying the excess and threatening me with debt collection agencies and extra charges. I have the email receipt and bank statement to prove that I owe nothing but it’s still very upsetting and distressing to be falsely accused and threatened in this way. I’m currently dealing with stress and anxiety and this has very much not helped with the state of my mental health.

Deeply disappointed to note numerous mistakes on my ADHD assessment that seem, ironically enough, to show a lack of attention on Dr Ahmed's part. The errors suggest that he was not listening to me which makes me ultimately call his diagnosis into question. The numerous forms that I and loved ones filled out are not quoted in the assessment, making me wonder if he even consulted them. And the assessment itself does not even feel like it was written by a doctor (numerous moments of poor grammar etc). I was in and out in less than an hour, and the experience felt like a conveyor belt. I do not feel this was worth £400+ and will be complaining.

My husband was sent to see Doctor Ahmed by our solicitors for a psychiatric review as to whether he was fit to plead in a court case he is currently involved in. The report was supposed to be non biased and purely and solely based on his ability to plead. Naturally we were asked questions about my husband's mental health conditions and how we are dealing with them and also how they affect us in every day life. Of course we happily answered and explained how gradually things were improving as we learned to deal with and get to the root cause of his mental illness. Dr Ahmed seemed genuine and sincere in his assessments, however once the report had been submitted he had VERY unprofessionaly not given his unbiased opinion, but instead had read and quoted from very old medical reports by another doctor and had gone on to say how he believed my husband to be controlling and manipulative purely based on these old reports. At the session I'd even specifically said "the more I understand his conditions the more we are learning to deal with them and the more he's improving." Dr Ahmed had absolutely no right to include his personal and disgusting opinion on mine and my husband's relationship when it has absolutely NOTHING to do with our original reason for being there. My husband is 100% not controlling or manipulative but is instead mentally unwell, suffers with BPD and requires 24 hour care which I CHOOSE to provide. Dr Ahmed has only ever met my husband once on that day for a very short period of time but somehow is able to come up with a completely vile, untrue and damning opinion that, simply because my husband suffers with suicidal thoughts and tendencies he is allegedly in a sense "making up" his mental illness in a bid to control those around him and has no intentions to actually harm himself but instead is using these threats as form of control. You can see the scars on his body where he has tried to kill himself in the past, but apparently this was just all part of some elaborate mind game. Due to this, my husband is now VERY unwell and simply feels that no one believes he is ill or is willing to provide him with the help he so desperately needs and wants. He feels that everyone is angry at him for simply failing to take his own life. I have spent the entire day convincing my husband that he is believed and cared for and not to listen to people who apparently "understand mental health" because they have a piece of paper to call themselves a psychiatrist but don't live with these conditions day in and day out. Dr Ahmed is completely two faced, totally unprofessional and had absolutely no right to say these vile things when they aren't even relevant to my husband's fitness to plead in court. I am utterly disgusted by this stigmatised behaviour from an alleged medical professional.
