Discharged me when deeply unwell. Left me with no treatment plan or advice on tapering medications. By being honest with them they have contacted DVLA and stripped me of my ability to earn. No help with PIP application. I hold them in great contempt. Thanks for nothing.
I can not stress this enough. (Audio) Record your appointments. Leaving with more MH issues than I started with, they actually left me to die the day I disclosed something about THEM. Bullying culture within the team, from staff towards patients, from practice manager down. It is not okay to be spoken to in a belittling tone or in a derogatory manner. Bullying is NEVER acceptable (not excluding racist and homophobic attitudes). They will (and do) lie to protect each other, even documenting it and try to discredit your character across the whole of the NHS, abusing a position of care, trust, and power. There is a reason as to why they don't give out their full names or names at all, Dodgy Doctors too. Be especially careful of the one who only gives her last name. RECORD YOUR APPOINTMENTS. Absolutely have no idea who runs the place, because it bar far does not seem to be run by any qualified professional body, to make a diagnosis on the basis of a questionaire with overwhelming evidence without evening seeing a patient? How so? How is this possible? I have heard horror stories about this facility but did ot want to believe it. Shocking. Sent a copied and pasted generic letter with no signature. Playing god with people's lives. Lazy. have no more words
Got kicked out for not going to a face to face appointment, baring in mind I'm agoraphobic and hadn't left my house for 2 years!!! They lied on my medical records, when it came to medication, there was never a dr to sign my prescription, my cpn was never in, always off sick or annual leave, they gaslit me, took me off meds saying i was over medicated, which led to a nervous breakdown which lasted 3 months and quite frankly made my mental health worse, noone really cares or listens to you
1 Star because you can't register lower. Absolutely shocking place if you NEED, and I mean GENUINELY NEED an appointment. Either a basic or EMERGENCY appointment, you will be waiting months! My friend is rock bottom and because I'm a fair few miles away I cannot help. Mental health often ends with the person making permanent choices when a little more help than NOTHING could have changed the outcome. These words will be blindly ignored but so many GENUINE PEOPLE who need help, and want help are falling into an abyss! Absolutely Shocking!
Shocking experience here. Recently hit crisis point, living with a BPD diagnosis and they just don't care. Can't get through to the doctor I've been seeing for the last 2 years, didn't think my last appointment was worth coming to so I had to speak to someone else weeks after hitting crisis point. And unfortunately, you can't make a choice to go to another service because I'm not in catchment... Its here or no support. I told them how I was feeling for months at appointments and they just didn't offer any help at all.
Absolutely disgusted with this place my daughter's been a patient here for over 20 years! Because she couldn't make an appointment (because she had her 3 son's off Sick from school) she requested a phone call instead from the Dr, however no call came so two days later my daughter contacted them, they said they would get back to her,oh they got back to her in the form of a letter stating they had struck her off for not attending an appointment! My daughter is diagnosed bipolar disorder with possible personality disorder both of which she's medicated, my daughter's partner contacted the pendine, but because my daughter was in crisis shouting and crying uncontrollably in the background,the phone was put down on them! I will get this sorted one way or another but how can people work in mental health and not recognize a person in crisis when they hear it!
The staff are very caring and understanding, and no judgemental looks or comments. I feel they really get me and my mental health issues.
