Had a lovely impromptu stop over and the location off this hotel was ideal located near the motorway but with easy access to the trains into Birmingham centre via the NEC station. Hotel was great and excellent value. The spa had some maintenance issues but going down early morning meant was had it to ourselves. Would definitely stop here again if going to either the NEC or Birmingham.

We had a good experience at the Genting Hotel. It was clean and comfortable. The sheets felt very luxurious. Our refrigerator was stocked with drinks, which was handy. We enjoyed the easy access to the mall and casino. Additionally, we found the staff to be very polite and helpful. The only negatives were that we could hear our neighbors on both sides, and (though partially our fault), we struggled to find the right parking garage. Better signage would help. We did eventually get it figured out. We ate at the Sky Bar Restaurant and the food was very good. Getting our bil, however,l took longer than it should have, especcially when we told the waitress we needed it because we had a early morning flight. However, overall, it was a pleasant stay.

I recently stayed at the Genting Hotel and had a really enjoyable experience. The hotel itself was lovely, but what truly makes a place stand out is the staff — and the team here were exceptional. They looked after me throughout my stay and were always ready to assist with anything I needed. The facilities were also impressive. The gym, swimming pool, steam room, and hot tub were all very clean and well maintained, which made relaxing and unwinding really easy. My room was equally clean, comfortable, and nicely presented. Overall, a great stay. I’d happily return and would recommend the Genting Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-run place to stay.

I was on the 4th floor (my friends were on the 5th) and for most of my two night stay neither lift was working. On Saturday night none of the machines in the Sky bar were working. It's the first time I've sayed at this hotel as I usually stay at the Crowne Plaza where I've never had any issues. It's put me off returning in all honesty as it's a lot of money to pay and not have vital services working. That said, the staff were lovely, the superior room spacious and had a complimentary mini bar that was restocked daily. Would have been 5 stars if the lifts and card machines were working.

Great stay at the Genting. I was lucky enough to pick a night where the hotel and indeed the whole shopping complex was very quiet. The staff were all friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Liked the big bath sheets, so much nicer than having to wrap 2 separate towels around yourself like at some hotels. Bed very comfortable and shower water pressure good. Alcoholic drinks were fairly priced and the breakfast was very good. I had a massage in the morning which was very good also. Only negative is that the TV was only standard freeview TV channels no option to buy a movie or log in to my Netflix.

This hotel used to be one of my favourite places to stay we have celebrated many event such as birthdays by staying there and have gone to just relax for the night. However after my most recent experience I would never stay there again. Upon arrival at the hotel we asked how the spa worked, knowing it was subject to availability and reception informed us that we should just go down at 6. However when we went to the spa 6, we were told there was already a waiting list as people had been ring though earlier, as the spa had asked reception to tell the guest to ring through. After comping to reception about this we were let into the spa but the experience was ruined. We were checked into a room with an adjoining door which was not sound proof, meaning we could hear the people next door at 12am, 2am and 7am as well as the questionable tv choices. When we reported this to reception they rang the room which just restored in us having to listen to their phone ring while we waited for them to finish. I have written to the genting hotel to complain however they just thanked me for the feedback and stated way this was perfectly justifiable.

I got checked in by Amelia, she was very pleasant and helped with an questions I had. The room was nicely presented, bathroom was lovely. I paid extra for the signature package and the hotel made the room look lovely! The room comes with your basic iron, ironing board etc. Spa was really nice, wasn't to busy so could try all facilities. We paid extra for breakfast, It was okay it wasn't the best, due to the staff being very busy with guests from the hotel it was like you was waiting around for staff to ask what drink you wanted or food etc. Beds were comfortable and rooms are very quiet. For £160 a night, the room didn't come with bathrobes or slippers. For the price of the hotel and how higher the hotel is from your average 'premier inn' etc I would of thought these would come included with all rooms but doesn't with the signature rooms. Bathrobes are £15 per person!! I would of thought due to having a spa the bathrobes would of came with?? Also. didn't have a pleasant view from the room, we had the back of the hotel so could see a overgrown roof and the traffic on the right hand side. Breakfast wasn't the best. was waiting around for some time for someone to ask what hot drinks we wanted, coffee was very weak and unenjoyable. Juices kept going down very quickly so more waiting for someone to refill.

Booked this hotel primarily for the spa. Checked in at noon, just to find out the spa wasn't available for our rooms until 6pm. The "hot tub" wasn't hot, and only 6 people in the area allowed (often people sitting by the tub, not in it - supposed to be 15 min limit, but no clocks and no enforcement). The water features in the pool came on randomly, or not at all. The only great thing about the spa was Ellie at the desk. Very friendly and helpful. Getting to the spa late lead to a late dinner. Went to the hotel restraurant and was told we needed to go on our phones to make a reservation, even though there were plenty of open tables, just to find out none were available.
