How a comfortable experience was made UNCOMFORTABLE by Odeon Luxe cinema! Good access to the cinema with ample parking and free when you register at the cinema! Amazingly comfortable reclining seats! (That is where my stars stop for them) Once you settle down you think that's it I will now enjoy the 3.5 hours long movie with some snacks and drinks during the interval! But unfortunately Odeon Luxe had different ideas! We started feeling very warm and after an hour or so we got rid of our jumpers because the seat started getting sticky! Bearing the heat still enjoying the movie we got to the break and went to the foyer to get some drinks as we were very very thirsty by then because of all the heat! Guess what, they have a policy not to sell for the day anymore, there a no vending machines to buy a drink yourself and staff are there just to stare at such a large crowd to say we have stopped selling/serving and everything is now closed!!! I WAS SHOCKED! The show was almost sold out and such a large crowd was left with NO options to buy any refreshments! I wonder if the idea was to turn the heat up and then let people die of thirst(sorry being dramatic here but it surely felt like that!!).We traveled 120+ miles round trip just to be treated like this by Odeon Luxe Cinema Leicester!!! SHAME ON YOU!

Odeon Luxe in Freemans Park is in a great spot with a Nandos and a pub on the same site, which makes it easy to plan a full trip out. There is plenty of parking and it is free as long as you validate your car before leaving. The cinema itself is a good size with lots of screens along with a Costa, a bar and a food counter. Prices are what you usually see in cinemas, for example a standard hotdog is seven pounds. There is also a Tango Ice Blast machine and self service ticket machines which speed things up. The main downside was how cold it was inside. It was already cold outside and even with coats and scarves we needed blankets during the film. The lack of heating made the experience uncomfortable at times. The seats do have swivel desks which are really useful for food and drinks and they have large cupholders which help avoid spills. Overall the facilities are good and the location is excellent, but the temperature issue really let the visit down.

A really solid cinema, food and drink options are great. Seats are really comfy, would be nice if they weren’t so loud when adjusting the recliner settings. Only real issue is that in the iSense screen, there’s an issue with one of the speakers that hasn’t been addressed for over 6 months now.

Visited Odeon recently and had a great experience. The cinema is clean, the seats are comfy and the picture/sound quality is always really good, so it makes the movie feel that bit more special. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Only thing is the snacks and drinks are definitely on the pricey side, but that seems to be the case with most cinemas now. Apart from that, it was smooth, enjoyable and a nice night out. I’d definitely go again!

Fantastic Experience at Odeon Leicester! Odeon Leicester is a great place to watch the latest movies. The theatre is clean, well-maintained, and the seating is very comfortableβ€”especially the recliners in the Luxe screens. The picture and sound quality are top-notch, making every film feel immersive. Staff are polite and helpful, and the whole experience from ticket booking to the end of the movie is smooth and enjoyable. Definitely one of the best cinemas in Leicester!

Actually not a bad cinema. Spacious, full recliners with top for food and drinks. Enter reg at entrance to confirm parking. There are already pictures for that but here's a few more.

Not been here since it became a luxe odean. Love the recliner chairs and large amount of space you get. I fully enjoyed watching the elf with my family here. Advice for the odeon. Turn the volume down a bit as it was a baby cinema showing and was quite loud for their tiny ears and turn the lights on while we are getting sorted in our seats as we struggled to see what we needed from our bag for the little one.

I'd not been here for a long time, so impressed with the seating! Very relaxing recliners. A table to put your goodies on. Not too many adverts before the main film. We went on 2-4-1 Wednesday plus a student discount. Quite pricey, at Β£15 on a normal day , but worth it.

Wonderful cinemas. They have theaters of different size depending on the movie. Sound system is brilliant along with the comfortable seating. My limitless pass makes the visits more worthy.

4 hours free parking by using machine inside entrance. Quite a nice cinema overall. Pre-booked but queues seemed to move quickly. Comfortable reclining chairs in screen 8 (button on left side armrest). Good audio. Front rows quite close so you picture ok but not the clearest from that distance.
