Went to watch a film last night with my wife. Have a nice evening with a meal before. Film was good, seats comfortable but unfortunately was let down by the fact it was so cold in the auditorium. Ended up keeping my jumper and coat on and still felt cold which detracted from watching the film at times
Appalled and hugely let down that nothing would compensate for this bad experience for me. After having booked online a movie at 10.30 pm (last showing ) of the day at Vue meridian Leicester on 26/11/25. It was a surprise treat for a friend who was going into hospital next day for a partial tongue glossectomy operation. Sadly we were denied entry at the door despite several pleas to the manager standing at the door to allow us in. I told her we were only a few minutes late, with the movie having started shorty on arrival but she insisted it was a late entry so we cannot go in. She ruined our evening and I would have thought she would have had, as a manager, the courtesy and empathy to allow us in as we had already paid, taken the time and effort and had travelled to the location but sadly no real customer empathy or quality of service seen here.
No arcade or anything else to do, no where to sit at all, only seats in the building are in the actually screenings. Came into screening 8-10 minutes before showing and had to listen to cleaning lady's rant about not coming in early I explained my 7 year old wanted to sit down somewhere since there was nothing else to do here. Seats do not recline but tickets and combo boxes are cheap will not be coming back. Would rather pay more to get treated better not have to deal with arguing with staff or listening to rants made me and other guests feel very unwelcome here... if you do decide to come i would suggest coming later than the show time to avoid laps in other showings to avoid dealing with what we all had to deal with coming on time.
Cinema screen and seating good 30/12/22. I'm giving 2 stars because everyone there looked liked they couldn't be arsed . No smiles. No pleasantries (food service, cinema cleaners) Maybe it was because it was a 10pm showing. No-one in charge of gateway so could have seen it free. It's like for the 2 seconds I see you make it somewhat enjoyable.
Absolutely disgraceful! My sister has took my daughter and her son to meridian cinema today and had stated on the phone a few days ago that the babies was both two years of age they said that was fine now personally if you allow babies under the age of 5 you should know that they will not sit for a long period of time they ask them to leave they did give a refund after my sister who was well in her rights to feel the way she felt just pointing it out to anyone that what we to give their child the cinema experience to not take them if they don’t sit down for long periods of time due to you wasting your time or better yet might not be able to get a refund. It’s not okay for employees to not state these simple rules. So for the employee that said it was okay next time state the rules to the parents so they are not wasting there time.
Better than Odeon leicester and not as good as Showcase Cinema Deluxe but then its only £4.99 per ticket if bought online which is much less so you cant complain. only 4 starts because I dont think ive ever been here and the collect ticket machines in the entrance have been working, they are permanently broken. the screens are cleaned regurly, seating is comfortable and food is on par with any other cinema around. Parking is also free which is a massive bonus.
A lovely, clean, spacious cinema with free lots of free parking spaces, including disabled parking spaces. Tickets are cheap - £5.99, even cheaper if u buy online £4.99. Food & drinks are crazily expensive ~ a cup of pop is £4.99 & popcorn is £7!!! Staff is helpful & friendly. Washrooms are clean. Great location with fast food eating places, restaurants, pubs, nursery, gym, bowling place.
