This was our first visit to the vet, and we couldn’t be more impressed. Dr Hannah and the entire team were absolutely wonderful with our Ginger boy. Dr Hannah was friendly, gentle, and clearly very knowledgeable. She made both us and our pet feel completely at ease. Highly recommend Pet Doctors – thank you for the excellent care!

This was our first time here, as we were visiting Woking on holiday. The staff welcomed us and got my dog registered in the system. We were happily surprised to be able to get a Saturday appointment too! Dr Claire was super; she was friendly, knowledgeable and gentle with my dog. She took the time to check which medication would be best to avoid upsetting my dog’s sensitive stomach. I highly recommend this veterinary practice and would definitely return if we were in the area again. Many thanks to all!

Vets and nurses are lovely but the receptionists are so unfriendly! You feel as though you have entered their home uninvited and are a huge inconvenience.

Diana is the best vet nurse! So caring and reassuring. Claire talked us through everything and settled our nerves and the receptionist are also so lovely and caring. Would take my lovely Cali anywhere else as a first time owner!

The staff here are so kind and patient and the quality of care for my cat has been very high. The reception staff always take time to explain things through to me. The wait on arrival for appointments is very low so my cat spends minimal time in the carrier.

Marvelous. Our dog had developed a UTI and within 10 minutes we'd had a urine sample test, a consultation with a lovely vet, some anti-biotics and most important of all some CARE. Makes the farce of trying to get a GP appointment and then be processed all rather lacking. Thoroughly excellent.

A complete disgrace of a vets. Take your pets elsewhere. Our problems started back in August when we took our westie here when he stopped eating and was constantly howling, crying out in pain and been sick. We took him straight into the practice on the Sunday of the Bank holiday weekend and was told that it could be teeth related and to take him back again for a further check up on the Tuesday with the main vet. We were prescribed meds and charged for a Bank Holiday consultation fee which was fine and expected, off we went. No change with our dog in the two days so back we went on the Tuesday. Main vet checked him over and told us it definitely was not teeth and that we shouldn't have been given the meds. So meds we had paid for 2 days later went into the bin. A Steroid was given and blood tests were done on this occasion. I will say there was a slight improvement for 3 days or so but then we were awoken the early hours of the Friday morning at 2am to be precise, same issues. Our Dog Crying, Howling been sick again. Called Pet Doctors out of hours and was told to take him straight in. The vet we saw looked like she had just woken up herself. We showed her videos that we had recorded of the dog crying, howling and been sick. Her response was, ah sure all dogs cry and howl like that. Was she actually taken the p***. In 10 years our dog has never acted in that manner. More meds were prescribed along with another out of hours consultation charge (again not an issue) but still no diagnosis. Anyway another two visits followed after this. The main vet Graham told us after the 2am visit we had, that yet again the incorrect meds were given and to stop taking them. Another lot of meds we paid for that went straight into the bin. Graham then did another blood test during one of the last couple of visits which were the same blood tests as before so charged twice for the same tests. We were then charged for the bloods to be checked outside the surgery which we were not informed about. I questioned this and the charge was removed but then got added again on our final visit. After 5 visits we ended up with no diagnosis after paying out over £850 to Pet Doctors. Graham Informed us on our final visit that we would need to be referred to a private hospital which could cause thousands. We decided before making any decisions to take our dog to another vet for a 2nd opinion and guess what, the correct medication was prescribed over the right period of time and within days our dog was back to himself and the issue was resolved. We have since moved out of the area and cancelled our healthy pet club subscription as it is not offered in the area where we now live. After the issues we experienced with Pet Doctors they then had the audacity to send us letters and emails requesting over £130 for cancellation. Not a chance are they getting another penny from us after the experience we had. Honestly take your pets somewhere else. Go see Rob and his team at Guildford Vets on Worplesdon Road. These are the guys who saved us thousands of pounds which we would have paid out should we have listened to Pet Doctors.

I took my cat to the practice as part of the emergency service. The staff were amazing and kept in touch with me at home during the whole time he was under their care. Infact I believe that the confidence and patience of the vet on call avoided invasive interaction ..clearly very positive I cant recommend this practice enough..if I lived closer I would consider transferring my pets to the care of this branch Thank you :-)

Didn't have the best experience at the Pet Doctors branch in Woking. After reading the great reviews, we decided to get a free check for our new dachshund puppy before getting his first vaccine to find out their options. It was not clear where to park, so that wasn't the best start. Then we went in, and it was sterile & cold like a doctors surgery. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seen & we were only ones in there. In the vets room it was dark & freezing cold?! So our puppy was shaking. The vet didn't want to touch him and made us drag him out of his box & hold him while he was poking him & grabbing him and rushing the process of the check whilst not caring for our puppy properly. We were told, our puppy seemed lethargic sorry but I would be if I was being treated this way. Little does he know how active & happy he normally is... He also picked him up to weigh him & held him wrong (vertical) - as a vet you should surely know how Dachshunds should be handled to avoid IVDD (spinal injury). This gave me red flags straight away. The whole experience was super uncomfortable as first time puppy owners. Luckily we found a much better vets in Guildford (not pet doctors) who treated him so much better, giving him treats and were so excited to see him & he was super happy to be there. I would not recommend this vets to puppy owners.
