Very bog store with plenty of space to showcase the all items as sportsdirect has approximatelyhude number of items, so in this location most of things are well displayed and appropriate, no parking issue as stores is part of big retail park
Online is rubbish, wrong size delivered an now want me to pay for the items return and pay for the correct item sending. £15 charge for there mistake. But in store is pathetic with miss matched sizes, unavailable item and offers.
Closing time Saturday is NOT 7pm. Tried to go into store 5 mins ago, 18:54 and staff had doors shut not letting anyone in. PLEASE update your opening time information to reflect this as saying you’re open until 7pm on a Saturday is highly misleading the public!!!
The go to place for decent sports goods and clothing
No customer service at all. Tried online that gets you nowhere, no contact telephone number, the carrier they use is an absolute joke. Still waiting for my goods which were seemingly attempted delivery and will have to go in store to speak to anyone. Do not buy online!!!
Some of the staff, I think the manager, are just rude! I needed to ask a question of the staff, two were talking by the door so I walked over. They both saw me however a tall bald guy who I think was the manager just kept on talking to the girl making me wait, eventually I interrupted with excuse me. Even then the manager just kept talking with the girl actually having to interrupt him to then quite pleasantly point me in the right direction. So, I decide on a product and tried them on however they are defective. The girl at the till kindly said for me to find some more or they could offer a 10% discount, unfortunately these were the last in my size so I asked for the discount. She took the product to the manager who then cut off all the loose threads and refused the discount! I bought them anyway as I needed the product for the next day however the defect remains so I will probably return or exchange them in a few days. I assume the manager at Huddersfield Sports Direct thinks this is standard quality for clothes at their store, see photo. If you live in Huddersfield my advise is to buy online as going to this store is not worth the convenience.
Do not buy anything from the online store. They take your money and then take over a week to process your order. They then email you to say that they don't have what you ordered but make it impossible to speak with someone from customer service. It looks like some kind of con to me and I will not be buying anything from them again. House'of Frazer do the same thing because it's owned by the same person and I bet Flannels do it too as he owns that. They use Hermes to deliver and they cannot be trusted with parcels and certainly not with people's data. You end up getting dodgy phone calls from people pretending to be from MasterCard wanting your bank account details. Keep away from their website.
