Lovely welcoming owner and clean presentable rooms. Small ensuite functional and clean. Close to centre shops and restaurants all in walking distance. A sea view when at the window a bonus.
I stayed here for 5 nights with work. Gwen is very friendly.. very welcoming and keeps the place spotlessly clean Kay was also nice gwens friend. Lovely place to stay. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast Richard. KM Travel. Chesterfield
Nice lovely welcome with easy check in and exit. Clean and very comfy rooms with tea/ coffee, tv, fan and hairdryer. Great location opposite Marine Lake and not far to town centre, shops, Pier and amusements. Second stay here and would definitely recommend.
Came for the carnival and stayed for the weekend. What can I say about this guest house? WONDERFUL! Gwen, the owner, is very friendly and accommodating. Service with a smile and very attentive. Our room, a triple with ensuite, was lovely. A very bright, airy room, well kept and clean. The ensuite was cosy and very clean. Furnishing was to a high standard, and we had good nights sleep. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already booked a room for next year!
Very good rooms but slightly smaller than we usually have. No fridge in our room but can't say if that's the norn. Great host and staff, would go again.
Breakfast was excellent and it was nice and small and Gwen was really nice and it is out of the way of the town centre. I decided on a b and b to build my confidence up in staying away from home which I hadn't done since just before everything shut down back in March 2020 in the February and the best option was a small place rather than a massive hotel. Its in a traditional Victorian house so there's lots of steps and breakfast is in the basement. I would happily return here in the future.
Gwyn was an absolutely lovely lady and Margaretat breakfast. Made to feel very welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Definitely will be back. Perfect location. A must try is Captains Cabin, lovely food and sunset
Such an amazing hidden gem. Gwen is so nice and she does everything herself. Proper homemade full English breakfast. Willing to make pretty much anything you ask her for breakfast; so accommodating. Will definitely come back.
I can not rate this place high enough. A totally stress free experience. Gwen is absolutely lovely and was an amazing host. The breakfast was perfect and the location is also great. Bed was super comfy, plenty of tea and coffee and a nice warm shower. Just thank you Gwen!
