Booked a private event in memory of a recently passed family member. The boat crew could not have been nicer - respectful and accommodating to our requirements. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I can only give 5 stars on the review but the whole experience was fantastic. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. Thank you again everyone for your help on the day...

Great activity, kind and helpful staff. If the weather is nice it’s absolutely an amazing and calm guided tour which takes around an hour. Come before or after the tourists trip and it won’t be busy. Try the cafe too!

Good experience sailing from Whitwell, lasting about 45 minutes with commentary along the way telling us about the history & construction of the reservoir, alot more of the reservoir could be seen ahead at the point we turned to go back. Drinks on board were reasonable priced & staff very friendly & safety conscious. There's some lovely things & wildlife to see, although at £15.50 per person on top of the car parking fee, it can soon add up to an expensive day.

Rutland water is beautiful. I visited on a warm sunny day. Had lunch in one of the cafes. Went on a trip across the water on the Rutland Belle. Had a lovely walk along Nirmanton and watched a wedding take place at the Chapel that is the only thing remaining from the village that was removed to make way for the reservoir. I would love to come back and stay at one of the hotels on the waters Edge for a couple of days and really discover this place. It's amazing.

Had an absolutely wonderful time at Rutland Cruises, aboard the Rutland Belle! The boat itself is lovely and offers fantastic views of Rutland Water – we especially appreciated how well the rutland belle is equipped, allowing large wheelchairs access to the lower inside deck and out on the bow of the boat. What really made the trip special was how friendly and welcoming all the staff were. From the moment we booked to when we stepped off the boat, everyone was so helpful and cheerful. The commentary was interesting too! Considering the experience, the prices are really good value. We felt we got a lot for our money. Highly recommend Rutland Cruises for a delightful day out – we'll definitely be back!

Very fabulous boat ride, on The Rutland Belle, around eastern half of Rutland Water, via Normanton Church. Good service as well too. :)

It was a wonderful experience, we were 20 minutes late and they waited for us. The captain made us laugh multiple times during the boat ride. Would 100% recommed this cruise.

We did the Saturday evening Gin Cruise. Really lovely evening with live classical guitar, great gin and picnic food. Only issue is you can't park anywhere overnight, so one of you has to drive or get a taxi both ways if you want a drink.

Lovely boat trip on Rutland water. You are provided with a commentary during the crossing, and it is possible to buy drinks and snacks on board

Wonderful experience, make sure that you’re early if you plan to be on the first boat at 12:00. 45 min ride, the staff is very friendly and the boat facilities are acceptable including toilet and a small bar on board. The boarding are is next to the Harbour Café. Dogs are allowed
