Really disappointed with my experience visiting the store today as working in the highcross I am aware of how bad the signal is. So I went to pick up my mum to be pack from Emma’s diary. (I’m pregnant) But also heavily tattooed. A small Asian lady didn’t catch her name on checkout tills was very rude to me and said she would not accept a screen shot she needed to physically see me download it. I asked her how she expected me to do that with no signal? Her manager said she would do it as a good will gesture as she could see I wasn’t happy with the situation! But I don’t understand why she wouldn’t accept the screen shot of the coupon that was able to be scanned. She then went on to continue after being over ruled by her manager to say next time make sure you download it because I don’t appreciate it! I’m not trying to fraud you of some decaf tea bags and some pregnancy vitamins! My first experience as a new mum and an awful one ! Won’t return to boots or be collecting my new mum pack! If you can’t work in customer service nicely why do it at all!

Do not come here for vaccinations. The pharmacist does not wear gloves, doesn’t use a sterilising wipe on the body before injecting, doesn’t apply pressure to staunch the bleeding and will not offer you a plaster unless you specifically request one. Presumably I’ve just been vaccinated by someone with zero medical training. .

For years I used to get my son's prescriptions from here. This was up until a few months ago. Whilst being served at the pharmacy. I heard a middle aged female member of staff on the walkie talkie to the manager who was serving me. She said a "code word" which means "shoplifter" (meaning me). I was the only one around and when i looked at the manager he looked at me and went red, because he knew I'd heard. Not only is this untrue, but it also makes you feel very uncomfortable. Just because I used the store a lot for prescriptions and purchases is that a reason to suspect customers of shoplifting? Not only does has that member of staff never seen me steal (because I haven't), she is also quite unfriendly and abrupt. Hence I no longer use the store.

I am a regular customer to this Boots and I get a variety of cosmetics and different products from here. When I come to this store, Sarla advises me on the best products and is such a helpful worker. She is extremely kind and is wonderful at her job as I see her always working hard.

It’s a shame that despite being a dog friendly store and advertised as such in the Highcross, I cannot enter with my dog (who is extremely well behaved and keeps to my heel) without having staff scowl, actively move so they can’t help us, or jump away. This being when he is at least 20ft away. Very disappointing. If staff work in a store that allows dogs, staff should be prepared to interact with those customers the same way as any others. Apple and John Lewis manage this perfectly adequately.

Very rude pharmacist/ assistant today 2/1/2023. Asked her about adult cough medicine and all I got was ‘we’ve run out as it’s bank holiday’ before turning and chatting to her colleague. Absolutely rubbish customer service and ignorant behaviour

Disappointed with the service from Devan at Highcross. I asked about whether there was an offer on the Vitamin D tablets and he completely ignored my query at first and started to chat to another staff member which I found quite rude! No apology from him afterwards.. He also did not help in finding out how many points I have after. Despite the poor service I said thank you and bye, but there was no reply from him. Very unfriendly. He definitely needs to get trained on how to provide better customer service before he attempts a customer facing role.

Pharmacy staff literally berated me for their own catalogue of failures. - Paid and picked up an incomplete prescription, pharmacy nformed me that I could collect in a ‘couple of days’ as informal/vague as that - Went in to collect after more than a ‘couple of days’ as it was so vague I didn’t think it’d matter that much. Was told it wasn’t in stock and the lady set me up on text messages and said I’ll get a text message when it’s ready - Got a text to say it was ready, didn’t mention in the text I had to get by a certain date - Went in a week later to collect and was rudely spoken to by a member of staff, the amount of aggression/annoyance coming from her was unreal considering I wasn't even kicking up a fuss (like I am now). She said they called numerous times and left voicemails, that I won't be getting a refund and I need to order another prescription. 1st of all, didn’t expect to get a call from them and it was private hence why it got missed. 2nd of all, when I checked, it was 1 vm (ON THE SAME DAY I got the text message) saying I needed to collect my tablets as it’s going to expire in a couple of days. To me, the voicemail indicates to me the prescription had been for a while, so why did I get the text message on that day (which is what I was looking out for?). Regardless of if I’m in the wrong or not, she shouldn’t have spoken to me like that. But the fact is, they’ve failed on their end to EXPLAIN AND SET UP A CLEAR PROCESS - do you think I enjoy going to the pharmacy numerous times to wait around - so this makes it all the more terrible.

Incredibly rude staff member on the checkout - just left boots highcross today 15/08/2022 at 2pm after going in with my grandparent to buy 2 packets of paracetamol - served by an old lady on the first till - I offered to my grandparent of using my boots loyalty card mainly to gather the points but also with an added bonus of having a student discount on it - the woman was incredibly rude and started a long lecture to me about how I couldn’t use the discount for someone else - the total was £2.50 which means the discount was only 25p?! But that’s fine as she was adamant that it wasn’t allowed (I’ve never had this issue before) I said to my grandparent that it was fine and I would cover it - to which she then started lecturing again saying that if he was going to pay me back she wasn’t giving me the discount as it still counted - at this point I just ignored her as she was so rude I wasn’t planning on getting the money back from my grandparent anyways but the accusations she was making were very off putting and we just wanted to leave - the whole time she was lecturing us and eventually we left without letting her finish. All of that for 25p….

Terrible service from the security. The guy was incredibly rude when he approached me. I had my assistant dog with me and he said to me “you aren’t allowed to bring your dog into the store, so don’t bring it in!”. He didn’t even approach me nicely, just straight up came up to me and yelled at me. I replied to him saying “this is my assistant dog therefore she is allowed to come with me, plus I held her in my arms the entire time I was in the store” I was only in there for 30 seconds to pick up my prescription and I got yelled at my the security guard. He was totally unprofessional and didn’t not approach me kindness. I suffer from severe mental health and this was certainly not needed at all!
