   Went from being the worse pharmacy experience under Day Lewis management, to the best under the new team. I used to dread going to the pharmacy as the experience was so awful I switched to online so I wouldn’t have to deal with the staff there. Not anymore! The new team are polite, genuinely helpful, the shelves full of stock and at good prices. Now a good experience that for everyone, and the staff actually look like they enjoy their jobs.

   Fantastic local pharmacy — highly recommended! Since the management change in 2025, Wood Street Pharmacy has gone from average to outstanding. The shop is always spotless and well-organised, with shelves fully stocked and everything easy to find. Prescriptions are handled quickly and accurately, and any special orders arrive promptly without any hassle. The staff are genuinely wonderful — friendly, considerate, and always willing to go the extra mile to explain medication or offer advice. You never feel rushed or overlooked here; they really take the time to help. It’s great to have such a reliable, well-run pharmacy in the heart of the community. A brilliant example of how local healthcare should be done!

   Absolutely awful service! They have long wait times, and items are not ready or the item is out of date! They also keep nominating me from my regular pharmacy without even speaking to me first! I have asked this place to “release” the medicine for me and they say no and make me go there! Surely that’s illegal! I would avoid going here they will keep taking you away from your regular pharmacy and try to act all innocent after!!

   Went in today for some emergency epilepsy medication for my son. There was a massive storm happening outside and shops up and down Wood Street were flooding. Inside this pharmacy however I received fantastic, friendly and caring service and was relieved to find that they actually held stock for the medications my son needs as opposed to other pharmacies where there is a 2-3 day wait. They also stay open an extra half an hour to 18:30 week nights and an extra hour and a half on Saturday's - critical to people trying to pick something up on their way home from work or fitting in a visit around a hectic weekend.

   An amazing place to do Work Experience at. I did Work Experience at Day Lewis for two weeks, during the Summer and I enjoyed it. The staff at Day Lewis are super friendly and helpful. The skills I learned while I was there are quite useful and beneficial for everyday life. I will recommend Day Lewis to Secondary School Students, who are finding it hard to find any Work Experience.

   Visited today for a blood pressure reading. Was welcomed by 2 friendly ladies. Got very good guidance and advice (sit down and wait 10 minutes to ensure I was as relaxed as possible). Reading took place in consultation room, unrushed and was done as the average of 3 readings. Everything was explained clearly
